Miscellaneous prompt post

For when ideas get stuck in my head and I'm not sure what to do with them.

-If you followed the Van/Brian/Zueljin playthrough of the RotM map, you may know of their challenge to Team Canada to address some... inequalities between their respective series of the same map. Later, this exchange happened, and oh my god, I so want that to happen now. Team Canada and Van/Brian/Zueljin (seriously, those guys need a snappy team name or something) first duking it out according to the ultimatum, then joining forces to bring down the mapmaker when it becomes clear that Joel is the real evil bent on destroying all of them. I want.

-Random idea that Millbee's giant, perpetually unfinished Matt Damon sheep comes to life and terrorizes the server. I don't know either. They would probably have to kill it with fire.

-Not quite a prompt, but I keep thinking of obscure little details that could be used as a subtle joke within a fic. Like cameos from people that get referenced in videos, like Kurt's neighbors, whose garage door is practically a regular guest in his videos, or Scotty, the guy who delivers MC's pizzas and always wears sunglasses no matter what time it is.

-For whoever's familiar with MC's speedruns, I had this idea that he plays the games so often that it becomes self aware and the game characters discuss his strategy execution when they're not on screen, and maybe start to influence the run directly. I haven't decided if they would be helpful or trolly to the run.

-Oh, I can't believe I forgot this one. How on earth is there not yet a ton of smutty Beef fics about what exactly happens during Secret Saturdays? That joke is the most perfect invitation for PWP I have ever seen.

Hmm I really like the idea of MC speed run characters knowing (trolly, they would be trolly >:D) and about Scotty MC's pizza guy who wears the sunglasses. I have a friend like that he wears them all the time and has never actually told me why.

I've known one person who wore sunglasses all the time, but her excuse is that she is legally blind, so maybe that is not the best example.

Maybe the sunglasses are some kind of mind control device that they can never take off because whoever's controlling them wants to keep it that way.

I think Zueljin referred to them in the last episode as 'Team Clockwork', which I rather like.

Ooh, possible plot-point: Joel deliberately gave them different versions of the map, to cause friction and general dischord and evilness.

A giant Matt-Damon-face sheep coming to life and rampaging around the server would just be too funny. Maybe it got mad from being left unfinished for so long? XD

Ooh, so the issue with mob spawns was actually Joel's fault and he wanted something like this to happen? I like that.

Just like with all writing, practice makes perfect. nwo (But really, it is a lot of fun. It's good practice for pacing, too. Even if you do trash it, it's worth doing.
