All grinded up an with a few movesets rethought, it's time to take on the Elite 4. Is this the end for our team? Find out now!

First up, team rundown:

Lovely shot there of the team. And yes, that is my friend code if you feel like adding me :3

Kurt: Stoutland, lvl 65. Moves: Crunch, Giga Impact, Strength, Ice Fang. Item: Metronome. Ability: Sand Rush.
Not the most diverse moveset but it packs a punch when it's needed. With high attack and defense stats, Kurt is one of the few who's made it all the way from the beginning and we'd be remiss if we were to leave him out of the end game. He'll get us though this.

Guude: Virizion, lvl 65. Moves:  Magical Leaf, Swords Dance, Giga Drain, Sacred Sword. Item: Big Root. Ability: Justified.
A surprise addition to the team when we lost Doc, Guude's done incredibly well, much better than I expected but then he IS legendary. With impressive speed, he's almost sure to strike first no matter his target.

Guilty: Galvantula, lvl 65. Moves: Discharge, X-Scissor, Bug Buzz, Thunderbolt. Item: Magnet. Ability: Unnerve.
With low defences and high speed and special attack, Guilty is a glass cannon and someone I'm going to be keeping a careful eye on here. Galvantulas are favourites of mine but one hit could take her out if we're not careful.

Blame: Chandelure, lvl 65. Moves: Flamethrower, Flame Burst, Heat Wave, Shadow Ball. Item: Charcoal. Ability: Flame Body.
I ended up exchanging his Inferno for Heat Wave, because while they deal the same amount of damage, Heat Wave has higher accuracy and more PP meaning I can use it more often. Shadow Ball is of course a must for any ghost type. With a huge 200 in his special attack stat, Blame is going to be doing some serious damage.

No Regrets: Starmie, lvl 65. Moves: Surf, Psychic, Power Gem, Ice Beam. Item: Mystic Water. Ability: Illuminate.
With the highest speed on the team, No Regrets is made to be fast and with this move set will hopefully hit hard. It's true I could remove Power Gem to install Thunderbolt and we'd have your typical BoltBeam Starmie but I quite like that rock coverage.

Pause: Unfezant, lvl 65. Moves: Sky Attack, Return, Air Slash, Fly. Item: Sharp Beak. Ability: Big Pecks.
Pause has an insane attack stat, coming in at 221, the highest of the team, but his comparatively low defence is a worry. His moveset leaves something to be desired compared to flying types I've used in the past but he makes it work with the impressive attack stat.

And with that, it's time to move onto the League. The final four, and the champion.

We'll be taking on Shauntal of the E4 first. A ghost type user. I'm sending in Kurt. With him being a normal type, ghost moves won't land, but with his Crunch, he'll be able to attack.

First out is her Cofagrigus, lvl 56. Kurt uses Crunch and brings it to half health, which allows Cofagrigus' Mummy ability to infect Kurt and remove his Sand Rush ability. It then responds with a Psychic attack to take 35 health from Kurt, barely anything. Another Crunch and the enemy faints.

Second out is Golurk, lvl 56. Kurt stays in. Kurt's Crunch brings it down to just a sliver of health but then it responds with a Brick Break, taking Kurt down to just under half health. The mummy ability inflicted on Kurt then affects the Goluk! Funny how that works. Taking a chance, Kurt uses Crunch but Shauntal heals with a Full Restore, taking the Goluk back to full health! The Crunch lands and knocks the Golurk out of the game.

Third in is Chandelure, lvl 58. Kurt stays in and I use a Hyper Potion on him to heal him up. The Chandelure responds with a Fire Blast -  which takes Kurt down to just 66 health left. Not good. Taking another chance, I switch Kurt for No Regrets. Another Fire Blast but we weather it to just above half health. No Regrets gets off a Surf and it knocks out the Chandelure.

Fourth and last is Drifblim, lvl 56. In comes Guilty to combat it. With a single Thunderbolt, Guilty takes it down in the swiftest end of the four rounds so far!

One down, three to go! After healing up of course.

The second E4 member we face tonight is Grimsley, a Dark type user. I'm going to be using mostly Guude for this, thanks to that resistance to dark types, super effectiveness against them and the ability which increases his attack if he's hit by a dark type move.

Out first is his Liepard, lvl 56. Its Fake Out stops us from moving but does little damage. Sacred Sword takes it out in one hit.

Second is Bisharp, lvl 58. Another one hit KO from Guude with Sacred Sword!

Third up, Scrafty lvl 56! Sacred Sword almost knocks it out but it hands on to use Poison Jab, taking Guude down to half health! Grimsley uses full restore, and I accidently use Magical Leaf cause I'm a bit of a ditz like that. Taking a risk, Guude uses Giga Drain to get back some health and the Scrafty is out!

Fourth up is the Krookodile, lvl 56.A beautiful example of what Avidya would have evolved into if I'd not g Another Giga Drain and the Krookodile is down for the count!

Two down, two to go! And this is where I paused because I had to charge my 3DS!

The third E4 member tonight is Caitlin, a Psychic specialist. We'll be using mostly Guilty against her, though on backup we have Kurt and Blame at a pinch.

First out is her Musharna, lvl 56. Bug Buzz takes it down to red health and it retaliates with Yawn. Dangit. She uses a Full Restore and another Bug Buzz brings it back to the red just before Guilty falls asleep. I use an Awakening to wake her up and the Musharna tries a Dream Eater attack but it's too late. X-Scissor brings it down.

In comes Sigilyph, lvl 56. One Thunderbolt sends it packing!

Reuniclus lv 56 is our next victim. Bug Buzz takes it down to red health but a return Psychic blasts Guilty down to less than half health. There's that low defence I was worried about. Another Bug Buzz and the green blob is out. So is Guilty, switching her for Blame now.

In comes Gothitelle, lvl 58. I miss my Etho :( Blame takes it out with a Shadow Ball without breaking a sweat and that means we're three quarters done with the E4!

The fourth and final E4 member is Marshal, a pure fighting type specialist. Etho would have had fun with this one, but for now, No Regrets i up with Pause as a backup.

First up is Throh, lvl 56. Psychic brings the Throh to red health and it retaliates with a Critical Bulldoze which only takes off a little health. Marshal uses up his Full Restore and another Psychic puts the Throh right back where he was. A final Psychic takes it out.

In comes Mienshao, lvl 56. It barely gets a chance to breath before No Regrets blasts it with a Psychic and sends it back.

Sawk lvl 56 is next. A Psychic takes it down to 1 HP before its Sturdy ability kicks in and saves it. It then uses Payback to bring No Regrets all the way down to 24 HP. Its risky but we go for the attack... No Regrets takes down the Sawk with Psychic!

Finally is Conkeldurr, lvl 58. I swap out No Regrets for Pause because it's too risky otherwise. Pause uses Fly and gets out of range of any attacks. The Conkeldurr uses Bulk Up to raise his stats and then Pause lands on him, taking him down to a little red health. The Conkeldurr uses his sitrus berry to heal a little before Bulk Up again. An Air Slash from Pause ends it all! And that's us done with the E4! On to the final, the Champion themselves!

The Champion is Iris, a Dragon trainer. The usual it seems. Always with the dragons. No Regrets will lead, followed by Kurt because they both have Ice type moves and thats the only advantage I have against this chick.

Out comes Hydreigon, lvl 57. An Ice Beam takes it to yellow health and it responds with a Dragon Pulse to drop us to just over half health. Another Ice Beam knocks it out for good.

Second on the scene is Lapras, lvl 57. Last I checks Lapras was not a dragon but whatever. I send in Guilty to take advantage of that water typing. A Critical Thunderbolt takes out the Lapras and even lets Guilty level up too!

Third in to fight is Druddigon, lvl 57. We switch back to No Regrets and heal up with a Moo Moo Milk. Rock slide takes us down to over half health. Ice Beam takes the dragon to yellow health and another Rock Slide puts No Regrets is the same position. Another turn healing with a hyper potion and the dragon misses its next attack. Ice beam takes it out.

Fourth combatant is Haxorus, lvl 59. This one is gonna be a rough one. An Ice Beam takes it to red health and it uses Dragon Dance to raise stats. Iris heals with a Full Restore and we Ice Beam again to red health. The Haxoru uses X-scissor to drop No Regrets to just 24 hp before a final Ice beam fells it and No Regrets levels up.

Fifth in is Aggron, lvl 57. I swap in Guude to take advantage of that 4x fighting weakness. Guude accidentally uses Giga Drain when I hit the wrong thing and it takes the Aggron down to just under half. Sacred Sword wipes it out.

The sixth and final pokemon is Archeops, lvl 57. In comes Kurt to finish it off. Archeops uses Acrobatics and takes Kurt down to just over half life. Kurt responds with an Ice Fan which takes it to yellow. I don't want to risk Kurt's life, so I heal with Moo Moo Milk and another Acrobatics takes down...less health this time. Maybe I missed the other one registering as a crit? The Archeops attacks with Endevour and takes Kurt to red health but one final Ice Fang knocks it out.

PLAYER DEFEATED CHAMPION IRIS

WE WIN! With no casualties during the last five fights! Holy crud!

We made it to the Hall of Fame!

Guude, Pause, Guilty, No Regrets, Blame, Kurt. You guys were awesome pokemon <3 The very best...like no one ever was.

And we wouldn't be here today without those who have gone before us, who didn't quite make it to the end but who were with us on our journey in spirit along the way: Avidya, M C Gamer, BDubs, Pyro, Zisteau, Doc, Starrlett, Etho. Sorry you never made it to the end, it was my fault for playing badly. But thanks for being there on the way.

Ahahah, and the game plops up back in the starting house, and the mother gives us Max Revives. Its like she wants me to bring back the dead. -sniff-

Well, that's the last instalment of Thero Plays. I hope you guys enjoyed it while it lasted. I'm not entirely sure what to do with the game now. I do wanna start up another run eventually but it will be so far away from Mindcrack themed its not even funny and I want to use this save file for it so I'll probably end up wiping this save game. I'll probably move the main team to my other black game or something but I won't be keeping the other. I suppose if you guys want, I can trade you for them if you wanted to keep them as a memory or something :3 Just message me if so.

That's all folks!
