I think it's time for another installment, don't you? As an unrelated preface, this is the first part of the Mod Adventures coming to you from Imgur. Previously I hosted all my pictures on Google's Picasa, but they recently redesigned everything to basically be an extension of Google+, taking out all the basic functionality I used it for to instead push the social media angle like no one's business, so screw you, Google. I won't delete my previous uploads on Picasa, so previous installments should be unaffected.
But you don't want to hear about that. Let's see what I'm in the mood to make today.

Last time I replicated Pakratt's Pondery, but I had forgotten a few things, like a sign, so I add one of those at the entrance.

I also incorporate a chest into each of the builds with the special drop of the Mindcracker I'm building for, and Pakratt's, of course, is TNT. There was already a chest in the design of the house, which I had used to dump all my random junk, so I just stick the TNT at the bottom.

There's also the matter of my chicken farm. I had finally amassed enough of them to accumulate a surplus of eggs to start a new chicken farm in a better location, which is something I've been needing to do. So all these guys need to die.

I didn't want the new chicken farm to be too far away, but I wanted it out of the way, so I built it into the hill next to where it used to be. I did the basic 5x5 water pit with a hole for the eggs to fall through. Finally I could collect eggs without needing to jump in a chicken pit. Unfortunately, this setup doesn't last long, as the constant splashing of a dozen chickens in flowing water is far too much for my clunker of a computer, which gave me the worst sound stuttering lag every time I went out of range of the noise.
So that would have to go. I still haven't come up with a new solution, but I have enough food in the meantime that I don't need one right now. But while I'm digging out the inside of this hill, I have some other farms that need remaking.

The wheat farm is another thing I've been needing to update, because I'm still hand plucking my harvest around the pond, so I'd like something more automatic. But the area I was digging out actually encroaches on Kurt's hidey hole. Hmm.
Well, I guess I'll figure it out later. For now, I'm in the mood for a proper build.

I've decided I want to make Anderz's viking ship, and this looks like a good spot to put it.

Things are coming along. Been working on the dragon head. It looks a little weird to me where it joins with the ship, so I continue tinkering with it.

Got the basic structure down, and it's looking pretty decent. It's not as long as the one Anderz's has,is also what she said, but it's fine. Still need a sail, though.

All right, sail acquired! Now all that's missing is a certain Swede.

Hello boys and girls, as always this is AnderZEL, and we're on a ship! I added a layer of half slabs around the inner ring so he can't jump out.

Can't forget about the final touches. Sign...

And special drop chest.

Have a nighttime cinematic shot! Very good. I like how it turned out.

JSano, what are you doing here? This guy wandered over from the neighboring snow biome where he originally spawned. He wants my wheat, but he can't have it. I'm still working on the indoor farm, and I don't want him jumping on my crops out here, so unfortunately for him, it's time to die.

Water buckets! I have not collected JSano's special drop yet, and I store these away for whenever I build something for him.

Speaking of that wheat farm, I finally got this hashed out. I have water source blocks held up by pistons that are wired underneath to a lever. Water is hidden in the walls for hydration. Nothing special, but it's something.
And because my ghetto wheat farm doesn't feel like an impressive enough ending to this installment, have another shot of that viking ship.

Yesss, lovely. Until next time!
As a random afterthought, this episode also makes for a good game of "identify that floating entity in the background!"
