Kurt knew Zisteau was his true love, not only because they obviously loved each other, but because of all the promises. Especially the ones kept.
They also had a very deep connection, they could talk to each other without speaking. Almost as if there was a song only their two hearts could hear.
True love is about honesty, promises, trust, and the music only two hearts can hear. And, that's exactly what the two had.
