Quick announcements about Group Rewatch and other stuff

* Group Rewatch 2: Nancy Drew UltraHardcore S1 will be delayed until Youtube gets its act together so I can actually search all the relevant channels for videos; that hopefully means I can get it up midnight Wednesday.

* UHC S1 is only five episodes or so. Do we want to continue with UHC S2 (which is also Nancy Drew co-op), or move to something else? How do we feel about non-Minecraft series? How do we feel about series that include a mix of Mindcrack and non-Mindcrack LPers? Do you have suggestions for further seasons?

* How do you feel about Group Rewatch in general? Is about an hour of footage every other day a good pace?

* I still encourage you to post as much as you want with all of your thoughts and feelings. Even a single one line post of your favorite line or moment in a given video can spark a little discussion. The chat posts will continue as well, of course.

* I know we have people all along the shippy/not-shippy spectrum now, which is pretty great! Please let me know if you ever feel uncomfortable in either direction.

* Would a weekly "Fanart Friday" post be welcome? Will there be regular content in a post like that?

* If there's anyone you'd like to invite to the group, go ahead and do so - or if you're nervous to do it, let me know!

I say we get through both UHCs, but I'm fine if people want to move to something else. An hour every other day sounds good, but I didn't participate in the first one so I can't 100% for sure say how it will work for me. BTW if you want me to help you find the relevant episodes I can try to find them...

Fanart Friday sounds cool. Maybe even if there isn't new fanart we could post links to old fanart as inspiration/ability to chat about them? For instance, some of the shippy art Sixelona and Gomeric have done I wanted to have conversations about that I didn't feel comfortable about having on Reddit... And it could be a nice way to keep the post relevant even if there isn't new fanart to share, and additional topics to chat about.

Personal bonus: maybe I will actually work on fan art that way.

Youtube search itself seems to be down right now, and some people (*cough*Guude*cough*) do not keep their playlists up to date which doesn't help. It can wait a day or two though.

I like the idea of old art! I'd like it better if I could get permission from the relevant artists, but neither Six nor Gomeric responded to my past messages. Granted, they are both very busy people, and they may wish to be anonymous lurkers, which is totally fine! But yeah, just one thing to keep in mind.

I'm new to the group rewatch things, but I shall definitely play along for UHC 1 if I can. And yes to UHC 2. It's actually my favorite season and has a lot of nostalgia for me.

Fanart Friday does sound cool, if only we had more artistically inclined members. Still, it could be a good reminder for me to do more marker drawings like the ones I did the other day. And I kind of like placeblock's suggestion of linking to old fanart too.

Oh yeah, I didn't say anything about non-Minecraft stuff. I'm hesitant to say "Yes." But so many people say stuff like OOG Saint's Row is awesome, so I think I'd at least give non-Minecraft stuff a try.

Did you ever watch the Germany vs. England FIFA game involving Doc and Xisuma? I mean, maybe it's just because I'm a footie fan (and again, my weakness for accents) but their trash talking was so damn entertaining.

If you have any questions on what people are referring to, let me know, but I can say off the bat Doc's "Don't mention Munich" at the beginning was a recent thing - the most recent Champion's League (basically European footie Super Bowl) final, between Bayern Munich (which is a German team) and Chelsea FC (which is an English one), which Chelsea won on penalties.

"Nocxx! I'm gonna jump through Skype and choke you ..." Good thing Doc's not competitive or anything. :) That made me laugh so hard. I can't say I noticed much in the way of Xisuma trash-talking, though. Doc was so loud.
