Nebris knew all Etho secrets, all of his past that he wishes he could forget. Nebris knew every bad tging that Etho had ever done, yet he still loved him.
Nebris saw past all of Etho's scars, which most people didn't. Nebris saw past Etho's horrendous past, full of abuse and crime. He saw past what nobody else could. He saw the good in Etho, even though there was so much bad standing in the way.
Unlike most of the people in the world, Nebris loved Etho for the honesty within his soul.
