I'm not sure what to say... They did not choose their roommate? Vaguely sorted by when they joined and which section they're in, but not really as I didn't bother to check... Pretty sure that several are wrong also Guudes with Chad on the basis that I forgot to put Guude with anyone, so yeah he used to share with BDubs?

JSano was tired, and couldn’t work out how to get Anderz to stop his tirade. Normally his roommate was in bed and asleep with little noise.

‘The Sheather’ Anderz exclaimed

‘Anderz, I’m sure he didn-‘

‘There is no way he made that jump’

‘I watched him mak-‘

‘He never makes that good a jump, he always misjudges them’

‘Maybe he ju-‘

‘And what about the javelin, it was in pieces before it was recorded’

‘st practised’ Jsano finished his last sentence

‘Shattering javelins is not something you can practise’

‘I know b-‘

‘So you agree, he is a sheather’

‘He sometimes –‘

‘You’ll help prove it then?’ Anderz appeared to be happy with this prospect

‘We can discuss it with him in the morning’

‘Like he’ll admit it’

‘He’d probably be proud of it’ JSano pointed out.

Which was mostly true. Nebris was proud of his more ingenious ideas to break rules without anyone noticing and would often fess up with minimal effort. Anderz didn’t continue the conversation and was snoring in a few seconds, JSano followed not too long after.

JSano woke to Zisteau shaking him, it was dark out, but the rooms light was on.

‘Wake up sleepyhead’ Zisteau whispered

‘Morning’ JSano sleepily responded

‘You know what Anderz did at 4 in the morning?’

‘Oh god, what did he do?’ suddenly remembering that Zisteau shared his room with Nebris.

‘Oh, you know, demanded Nebris quit his cheating ways, surprised the whole dorm didn’t wake’

‘Let me guess, they bet on him stopping?’

‘Yeah, but they want to do a 3 Vs 3 game of basketball’

‘So you need me?’

Zisteau was already getting clothes out for him while he was slowly waking up. Zisteau left the clothes at the end of the bed and headed off to wake up Pause and Coe

‘Playing to the first point, as I want to go back to bed. As the challenged party, Nebris gets to pick first’ Baj informed the competitors in his capacity as referee

‘Zisteau’ Nebris picked.

‘Coe’

‘JSano’ JSano was good, and Nebris trusts JSano to play his best, whereas Pause is still groggy.

Baj threw the ball up, and Anderz easily got to it first, passing it to Coe, who quickly moved up the edge of the field, Zisteau got the ball on one of the re-bounces without leaving Coe time to react, passing it to JSano who was near the basket. JSano fumbled the shot, the ball landing on Pauses head, which woke him up, grabbing it and passing it at to Anderz. Nebris intercepted, and moved around Coe to pass it to Zisteau. Zisteaus’ shot blocked by Pause. With no open passes Pause moved up the field towards Zisteau, who stopped paying attention to Coe long enough for Coe to get into a position for Pause to pass. Coe held the ball for the briefest moment before it was heading towards Anderz. He hadn’t looked, Nebris was right there, having anticipated the move. Nebris, with a grin on his face, passed the ball to JSano, the only one on that side of the field, who making the shot without issue.

‘Well, that’s it then, Nebris is free to cheat and I’m off to bed’ Baj left.

They continued their early morning match. When the sun rose Nebris team was a fair bit in the lead, with no defensive players on Anderz team it was easy for the more defensive team to control the field. They headed for breakfast, and Nebris headed to Anderz

‘I won’t cheat in the main competitions, since I means so much to you’ Nebris offered. Anderz didn’t acknowledge this, not sure of the truth behind the statement.

Etho and Doc were crossing the field, the sun setting on the horizon, Etho noticed the athletics students out on the blue field, packing up.

‘I would have happily joined’ Etho complained

‘I dunno man, it might have been a dispute, Anderz was complaining about Nebris last week’

‘Then where’s the referee?’

‘Probably went back to bed’

‘And they kept on after it was settled?’

‘Wouldn’t you?’

Etho sighed, Doc was right. He often felt excluded from the sporting group, not because he wasn’t good, but because he’d chosen his creations over sports.

He knew that several of their group had faced a hard choice, like he had, and would sometimes feel left out of the group they hadn’t picked. Doc always seemed happy with his choice, though he did visit, all he other classes during free Friday from time to time.
