Everyone Deserves A Happy Ending
Monday, September 21st, 2015 05:04 pmLet me tell you a story, one of a man who deserves a happy ending
They always say, everyone deserves a happy ending. And, I'd have to agree. Everyone deserves to be happy.
So, I'm going to tell you a story, one of a person who definitely deserves a happy ending......
The story begins in North Carolina, with a man, Guude. Guude was a husband and father. He was part of a community, the leader actually, called Mindcrack.
Guude had started Mindcrack many years ago. It started as just him, all by himself. Then, he added a few real life friends.
Eventually he held a few contests and added the winners. They all became fast friends.
After a while, the group had grown to a decent size, almost thirty people. They were a tight nit group, all close friends.
They eventually started going to conventions as a group. Seeing each other in person was one of their favorite things and they treasured every moment.
Eventually though, some of the group left. five people total. No one knew why, but they just left. And, it saddened Guude deeply.
After the five left, things started changing. There was barely any activity on their server, they didn't talk as often. They started drifting apart.
Guude tried desperately to keep the strings attached, keep them all together as a group.
But, the group drifted further apart, some even started fighting.
And, Guude continued to try and keep the once tight nit group together.
It only brought Guude stress, and a lot of it. He tried and tried, trying to convince the others to stay.
But, Even through all of his effort, it failed. No one was willing to look to the future instead of the past. No one was able to let bygones be bygones. No one could forgive and forget.
Guude was spiraling down in depression. The only thing keeping him going, his wife and daughter.
But, eventually, even that was taken from him. His wife went to drop their daughter off at school, but, they didn't make it to the school. They barely made it a mile away from home.
Eventually, Guude having everything he cared about taken from him, gave up. He didn't have any will, or strength, to keep going.
Guude may have deserved a happy ending. And, I may believe that everyone deserves a happy ending.
But, not everyone gets what they deserve.
They always say, everyone deserves a happy ending. And, I'd have to agree. Everyone deserves to be happy.
