TRIGGER WARNING: Torture, suicide, Angst, drugging, Depression, homicide
Written by the UnlitMidnightWriters!

Doc is here, there's also a bonus scene there. And a very off topic dicussion

Vechs crouched behind Nebris, watching the purple-eyed boy’s fingers fly across the keyboard.
“I still can't understand how you're capable of doing all of this," he commented as Nebris compiled an extremely long string of numbers.
Nebris chuckled, his eyes never leaving the screen. “A cheater never reveals his secrets.” Suddenly, Nebris frowned, going completely silent while his fingers somehow managed to type faster. Vechs had learned to stay quiet while this was happening, only speaking up after the hacker calmed down somewhat.
“You know, you could just ask Guude for the access code.” Vechs had enlisted Nebris’s help to get some files, not to hack into something. He figured Nebris was on better terms with Guude than him, especially after the… incident.
Nebris smirked. "That wouldn't be much fun, would it? Anyhow, you dared me."
"Yeah..." Vechs murmured, feeling a bit uneasy. "Wait, are you done already?" he asked in a shocked tone while pointing at the PC's vibrant screen.
“Am I?” Nebris teased, turning around to smirk at Vechs.
“Ha ha. Very funny. I’m assuming you are, then?”
"Well, not quite. I've just reached another security wall. It shouldn't take too long though."
"Oh. Okay then," Vechs sighed impatiently. "The suspense is killing me!"
“Why do you want these files anyways?” Nebris asked, returning to his frantic typing.
“Haven’t you ever wondered where Guude gets the money to keep our house? He never works, he’s always partying, but we still got a huge ass house and everything we ask Guude for!”
"Well-" Nebris stopped to think. "Actually, yeah! How the hell does he do that? You've got me all curious now!" He set back to work, determination plastered onto his face.
Vechs giggled. "Yep!"
A few hours and a metric butt ton of candy later, the two boys finally had the file. They stared at it for a second, turning towards each other and high fiving.
“Awwww yis! We got it!” Vechs giggled maniacally, grinning from ear to ear.
“We got it? More like I got it.”
"Yeah, yeah. Okay. All credit goes to you. But I told you about it! I guess it would also be your problem if anyone found out?" he added evilly.
Nebris punched Vechs lightly on the shoulder. "Oh come on, we're friends, right?"
Vechs blushed a bit as he said, "Y-yeah. Right. Now let's see what secrets this file has for us!"
Nebris double clicked the file, the two boys waiting in suspense as it slowly opened.
“Your computer’s a piece of shit.” Vechs mumbled.
“No! It’s just a big file!”
"That's what you want me to think, anyway."
"It's true!" Nebris retorted. "Hey, it finished loading."
The two immediately went quiet as they began reading the file. A couple paragraphs down the first page, Nebris stopped and his mouth gaped open. "W-what? Are you seeing this?!"
"Wha- ....oh. OHHHH.... Wait what?!" Vechs replied as he caught up to where Nebris was talking about.
“... Holy shit…” Vechs put a hand over his mouth. “There is no fucking way Pause is a drug de-”
“SHHHH!” Nebris slapped a hand over Vechs’s mouth. “Not so loud! Someone could be around. What would we say if they heard us?"
Vechs whimpered, suddenly afraid. "But... Pause...?"
"I know. I don't like it either. Look at this- he's managed to keep it a secret for almost two years! How the fuck?" Nebris was worried, but there was no way he'd consult anyone about this.
“Nebris!” Vechs whisper-screamed. “Look! Etho’s an…”
“An assassin…”
“Bdubs-”
“A fraud….”
“Genny?”
“A thief.”
Vechs took a deep breath. “Aurey…Zisteau...”
Nebris sighed sadly, putting his arm around Vechs comfortingly.
“Aurey.… A spy, a k-killer…. Zisteau an a-arms dealer….”
Tears began to form in the corners of Vechs' eyes. He let out a choked sob, barely able to comprehend the words on the screen in front of him. "Aurey... fuckfuckfuck! I c-can't believe it! I-I won't! She couldn’t have killed all those innocent people! And Zisteau! He would never sell these things to those people!”
"Vechs... don't freak out. Please, I don't want you to hyperventilate. Or alert anyone to our presence here. Do you need some time to calm down, or should we keep reading...?"
Vechs shook his head, mumbling to himself with tears in his eyes. “A-Aurey… Zistykins… why…. Z-zisteau.…Rellykins...”
Nebris embraced the shaking Vechs, rubbing his back comfortingly. “Vechs…”
Vechs sniffed, then hugged Nebris. "Th-thanks, Nebs. I- I think I'm okay..."
Nebris nodded, and the two continued to read.
"So, that's how Guude can afford to keep this place?! H-he..."
"He stole from a fucking bank!" Nebris finished Vechs' statement. "A-and Paul helped him!"
Suddenly, Nebris started shaking.
“N-Nebs? Wh-What.... oh… oh my God… I’m so sorry…”
“P-Pak… and Arkas…”
“... They kidnapped those poor kids…”
“N-no…”
“A-Arkas built the hide outs...”
“A-an’ Pak… Pak tortured them…”
“Arkas also… oh God…”
“Built the tools.” Nebris’s voice was hollow, breaking down in tears as he finished his sentence.
Hugging Nebris tightly, Vechs felt his own tears well up, and soon the two were clinging to each other, crying softly. Everyone they knew, everyone they trusted, was a murderer. A criminal. Or worse...
"Oh my f-fucking God, no!" Nebris burst out as he read the next sentence. He was sobbing now. Vechs glanced at the screen and hugged Nebris even tighter.
The children abducted were then starved, burned, and stabbed to death by their captors.
"NO. There's NO WAY that happened! FINE. FUCK THEM. FUCK THEM ALL! I c-can't do this any-anymore! What the hell am I supposed to say to that?! They were my best friends, and... and...." Nebris wasn't worried about being caught anymore. How could he?
"I never should have d-dared you to do that! It's all my fault, damnit!"
“That doesn’t change the fact that… That… th-they did this…” Nebris dissolved into tears, hugging Vechs tightly.
“W-we gotta stop this…”
"How, Vechs? How are we supposed to stop a bunch of- of criminals, let alone criminals who we've considered our friends?!" Nebris continued to sob. "T-there's no hope left!"
Suddenly, he felt something warm on his cheek.
"Shhhhh... We're both freaked the hell out about this. But as long as we stay together, there will always be hope," Vechs whispered, trying to calm his friend- okay, crush- down. "We'll find a way."
Nebris took a shaky breath, burying his head in Vechs’s neck. “I-If you say so…”
Vechs nodded, trying to calm Nebris down somewhat. “Y-yeah. We can take this system down… together..”
Suddenly, the two heard the sound of clapping, echoing from behind them.
They spun around, terrified out of their minds. There stood Guude. He stood in the now-open doorway with a slight smirk on his face.
"Congratulations, you two. And, on more than one thing, it seems." By now he had stopped clapping, and was now approaching the two.
"G-Guude!" Vechs gasped.
"I'm not going to do anything, jeez guy. Calm down."
“H-how long have you been there?” Nebris hastily wiped the tears from his eyes, turning to face Guude.
“Long enough so that I know I can give you this offer. Join me…” Guude whipped out a pistol, quickly moving to pull Vechs in a headlock at press the cold steel to the man’s temple.
“... Or live with the knowledge that you could have saved this guy.”
Nebris stared in horror, his brain barely processing the scene playing out before him. "I-" He looked around frantically for a weapon of some sort, but found none.
"Nebris, make your decision or your little friend dies."
Vechs was wailing, but dared not attempt escaping. "N-no- Please!"
"I- Okay." He sighed softly. "Fine. I'll j-join you, Guude. Just, just let V-Vechs go!"
Vechs' eyes widened and he let out an earsplitting scream. "NEBRIS!!"
Before he knew it, Nebris was pulled backward. "-Hey! WhaAAH!"
The new person tied Nebris' hands behind his back and kicked him to the ground. "Don't even think of moving!"
Vechs was soon shoved to the ground beside Nebris, both of them pinned down as their hands and feet were tied together.
Vechs whimpered as he received a kick to his ribs, trying not to cry. “W-why? Why did you do… all of it?”
Guude sneered, placing his foot on Vechs’s back and pressing down, making him cry out in pain as the pressure slowly increased. “I did it to help you. And you were soo ungrateful, so damn rude, that I don’t think you deserved my charity.”
“Leave him alone!” Nebris cried hoarsely, trying to break free from his bonds, receiving only a kick to the stomach for his troubles.
“Shut the fuck up, guy. If you weren’t so damn curious, so damn judgey about what’s kept you warm and safe most of your life, then I wouldn't have to do this! You could’ve joined us, eventually. I eased everyone into their lives. You could’ve been the same! But now I guess…” Guude aimed his weapon at Vechs’s shivering body, sighing sadly. “I guess now you’ll just have to be dead.”
A gunshot rang through the room, Nebris crying out loudly as Vechs let out a scream, ending with a sob.
“What, you think I’d kill him? This soon?” Guude smirked while Vechs stared at his arm, which was already soaked with blood. “I’m going to teach you, and anyone who might mess with me, a lesson.”
"YOU'RE DEMENTED!" Nebris spat, the venom in his voice apparent to everyone. He broke down yet again, sobbing profusely. "I just... We were s-so worried- about al-all of you when we saw what you had done! W-we wanted to hel-help you!"
"Yeah. Whatever. That still doesn't help the fact that you never showed any appreciation whatsoever after all this time!" Guude yelled back at Nebris.
"N-Neb-Nebris, forget a-about him. There- there isn't...." Vechs winced in pain and squeezed his eyes shut.
Nebris felt someone tug on his shirt, pulling him up and back, towards the door. He began to flail, trying to make his captor loose his grip on him.
It worked. Nebris fell to the ground, on his back, finally able to see who had jumped him.
“P-Pak?”
"Nebris, I-"
"No. Shut up! I don't want y-your apologies. It won't do you any good. I just... don't understand why you did it! Those children didn't deserve to die!"
Pakratt gazed down at Nebris and just shook his head, not wanting to talk anymore. He bit his lip, trying not to cry. He was supposed to be one of the bad guys, not sympathizing with his hostage!
“Pak!” Guude yelled, reaching for his wrist band- which was also a phone- to call someone to help bring Vechs up. “Hurry the fuck up, guy!”
"Y-yeah! Got it! I don't want to have to hurt you anymore, Nebris. Just do what I tell you to, okay?" he whispered as he grabbed Nebris' arms, leading him upstairs.
"...." Nebris had no response, just glared at Pakratt and trudged up the stairwell.
“Now, you little runt,” Guude spat, landing a solid kick to Vechs’ back. “What are we going to do with you?”
Vechs whimpered, teetering on the edge on consciousness.
Someone came running through the door, skidding to a halt next to Vechs’s limp body.
“Zisteau! What took you so long?”
“Wh-Whats wrong with Vechs?”
“We’re killing him. Not yet though, don’t worry. I want you to take him to Jsano, and then to the Pit, you hear?”
“O-Okay....”
“Don’t forget to… Aurey…”
Vechs could barely feeling anything but the burning pain in his arms, but he was able to listen in on that part of the conversation, trying desperately to hold on the consciousness, before everything around him faded away.

---

Nebris screamed the entire way to the Pit, hearing Vechs whimper as he was dragged out of the room.
“You motherfucker! Let me go, you fucking monster! Let him go!” He let out a sob, trying to break free from Pak’s grip. “Why? Just let him go! Do whatever the hell you want with me just let him go!”
Pak managed to hold onto the flailing Nebris until the purple-eyed man collapsed in sobs, completely spent.
"Nebris, get up."
"No-o! I have t-to know wh-where they too-took him!"
Pakratt sighed. "You're both going to the same place, eventually."
"NO! I n-need to know where the fu-uck they took Vechs!" Nebris yelled as loud as he could, which wasn't very loud at all.
Pakratt reluctantly sat down next to Nebris, untieing his legs and getting his attention. "Fine. Vechs is being taken to Jsano's tent, where he'll be injected with poison. Guude plans to lock him in The Pit and torture him until he dies."
Nebris deadpanned, then snapped back to reality. "HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT SO CASUALLY?! I NEED TO BE WITH HIM!" Nebris burst out again. "Y-you're a monster, jus-just like Guude is!"
Pak flinched, biting his lip. “Nebris… you don’t understand…”
“Understand WHAT? You killed those children, and n-now you’re gonna kill V-ve-...” Nebris couldn’t even continue his sentence, dissolving into sobs again.
Pak wasn't sure what to do, so he did the only thing he could think of. "Nebris-"
"What?" Nebris scowled, looking up and-
Pakratt slapped Nebris across the face, looking him straight in the eyes. "Just stop crying, Nebris. I'm taking you to Vechs, okay?" 'Oh gosh, I can't believe I just did that. I know I've done.... much worse, but I feel terrible.'
Nebris just winced and did as he was told. Every once in a while he'd sniff or whimper, but the sobbing had stopped.
It hurt Pak to see someone who used to be so strong so… broken. It reminded him of… Pak shuddered as he remembered the children.
Nebris had the same look in his eyes. He didn’t care. Not anymore. If there was anything Pak had learned, it was that everyone has a breaking point. After being put through so much, they just stop caring about themselves. In the end, they don't resist. They just accept their fate. And Nebris was extremely close to his breaking point.
The two made their way to Jsano's room, and when Nebris saw Vechs, he rushed forward at the speed of light.
“V-Vechs!” Nebris shook the limp figure in front of him, searching for any sign of life. He was definitely alive, but unconscious. There was a thick layer of gauze wrapped around the bullet wound on his arm, and his sides were badly bruised.
“Oh, how sweet. A reunion.” Guude strode in, carrying a long needle, about a foot long, it seemed, filled with viscous, yellow fluid. “You’re just in time.”
Nebris growled, and would have lunged forward if it wasn’t for Arkas appearing out of seemingly nowhere, clasping an iron collar around Nebris’s neck and chaining him across the room before he could even blink.
Nebris didn't put up much of a fight as he was dragged around. He was more shocked than anything, confused as to why even Arkas was working against him. "Now, should we send you both to your deaths at the same time, or should we make Nebris here watch as Vechs suffers a long, painful demise?" Guude went on and on, pissing Nebris off even more. Zisteau and Pak watched uncomfortably, unsure of whether they should speak or not.
Nebris glared at Guude, knowing it was pointless. Guude was going to do what he wanted, and there was nothing he could do.
And Nebris hated it.
Guude slowly made his way to Vechs, the needle now hovering above his arm, as Nebris threw himself against the chains. “S-Stop! I’ll do anything! Please, no, no, no!”
Turning to face Pak, Zisteau, and Aurey just as she rushed in, Guude smiled. “This is what happens when people don’t follow instructions. This is what happens when you don’t obey me.”
Guude spent a moment searching for a vein, Nebris’s frantic cries and screams ringing in everyone’s ears as the fluid inside the needle slowly drained into Vechs’s blood stream.
Nebris finally just collapsed, sobbing. He let himself drift towards unconsciousness. Vechs was as good as dead. And so was he. There was no use fighting it
Nebris hadn't realized up until now just how tired he was. His throat was sore- no. His whole body was sore. After struggling to stay awake, he let himself drift off to sleep.

---

"AAAHH! W-WHA-T... HA-HAPPENED T-TO ME?!"
Vechs had woken up, seized by the effects of the poison rushing through his body. He could barely sit up, and his vision was blurred.
"VECHS!" Nebris screamed, jolting awake. Tears stained his cheeks, and new ones began to form as he heard the agonized shrieks coming from Vechs.
Vechs whimpered, gasping for air. “E-Everything… h-hu-hurts…” Barely pushing out those words, he seized up, jerking into a tight ball and crying softly.
Nebris clenched his teeth, balling his hands into fists as he heard Guude’s evil chuckling from outside the room. “V-Vechs,” Nebris whimpered, trying his hardest to calm himself. “Vechs, ju-just try to rel-relax…”
Vechs didn’t respond, writhing in pain as Nebris tried not to cry.
“D-Don’t worry… I-I c-can save you…” Nebris stuttered out, willing himself to believe it.
Willing it to be true.
"Hey, V-Vechs?"
"Y-y-eah?"
Nebris choked back a sob. 'He sounds so helpless... Why did this have to happen to him, of all people?!' "I- I'm sorry! I couldn't do it! I s-should have ju-just attacked Guude when he wasn't paying- a-attention, but I di-didn't! I'm a COWARD!"
Nebris' sobs were sickening to listen to. It hurt Vechs even more than the poison was.
“N-Nebris… y-you aren’t a coward…”
“Y-yes I am…. I-I’d do anything to save you now, b-but I didn’t d-do anything before!”
“N-Ne-Nebs…” Vechs started coughing, huge coughs that shuddered through his entire body.
“V-Vechs… I-I’m so sorry…”
Looking up at Nebris, tears running down his face and eyes filled with pain, Vechs managed to smile weakly. “I-I love y-you, Nebris.”
Breaking out in a fresh burst of sobs, crawling towards Vechs, his chain undone, Nebris pressed his lips against Vechs’s, wrapping his arms around the dying man’s body. “I-I love you too Vechs… I’m so ss-sorry…”
"D-don't be..." Another bout of coughs followed, along with a groan from Vechs. "I-it hurts, Nebs..."
"Shhh... r-relax Vechs. The pain w-will be gone soon," Nebris attempted to act cheerful, for Vechs' sake. "Just try t-to sleep, okay?"
Vechs coughed, his voice hoarse. “I-I’m sorry I m-made you hack the d-database…”
Kissing Vechs’s forehead, Nebris didn’t bother to wipe the tears from his eyes. “It’s not your fault… I-I l-love you Vechs…”
“I love you too, Nebris…”
And with that, Vechs eyes closed for the last time, his breath slowing. Eventually, Nebris felt the man in his arm’s heart stop.
And Nebris died inside along with it.
The door opened, and Nebris didn't have to look to know who it was. He heard a slow clap and almost lost it.
"Again with the fucking claps, Jason?" he growled.
"But of course!" Guude snickered, and called for Aureylian.
"Yeah, Guude? Oh my gosh-! So, you actually did it," she whispered quietly as she gazed at Vechs' dead body.
"Yeah, yeah. That's old news. We need to deal with him, now," he stated nonchalantly, pointing toward Nebris.
Aurey was shaking softly, shaking her head in disbelief. “No way…”
“Aureylian.”
“S-Sorry, sir. W-what are we doing with him?”
“Tell the others to gather out back. We’re going to kill him. The old fashioned way.” Guude made a gesture, forming his fingers into a ‘gun’ and pointing it a Nebris’s head, pretending to fire it.
Nebris closed his eyes. He didn’t care anymore. Death seemed like a luxury, a gift. He would gladly welcome it’s cold embrace. What was the point anymore? Everything he knew was a lie and the man he loved was dead in his arms.
And yet, a small voice deep within him kept chanting, “Don’t give in, Nebris! Vechs wants you to stay alive! Vechs needs you to stay alive!” He tried to shut it out. No luck. “Don’t give in, Nebris!” The voice was growing louder. “Do what you can, Nebris!” Guude began walking towards him; the voice was beginning to yell. “You have to live for Vechs!” Guude pulled out a syringe, placing the needle on Nebris’ neck. “Fight them, Nebris! Make it out of this hell hole!” The voice was screaming at the top of its nonexistent lungs.
Guude plunged the syringe into his neck, injecting him with some strange drug he’d most likely never heard of, saying, “Sleep tight, Nebris.
Before the room went black and Nebris fell to the floor, limp and weak, but still alive, the voice, weakly, quietly, uttered, “Live.”

---

Nebris’s first thought when he woke up was that he had a hangover.
But as he was jerked to his feet, cold steel pressing against his head, he remembered everything. Struggling to love his limbs, he tried to fight.
He heard Guude’s voice, faintly, in the background
“.... and because of his offenses, he must die. Let this be an example.”
“Live…” The voice said.
Nebris would not let Vechs’s death go unavenged.
Time slowed to a crawl as he summoned the last of his strength, quickly moving up to yank the gun out of Guude’s hand.
Before anyone could even react, Nebris had the gun aimed at Guude, eyes full of hate.
“Y-you killed him…” Nebris didn’t bother to hide the tears running down his face.
“And now, you’re going to pay.”
Guude’s eyes widened in fear, just in time to greet the bullet hole that formed directly between them, five shots breaking the stillness of the room as a body crumpled to the ground. Vaguely aware of the sound of people rushing towards him, he turned around to face them, smiling sadly.
“Nebris! N-Nebris what are you doing? Put the gun down!”
Nebris put the gun to his temple, shaking his head. “He’s dead. And you guys are… not what I thought you were.” Smiling sadly, Nebris let the tears run down his cheeks. “I’m sorry.”
One final bang echoed through the building, one final body dropped to the floor.
Nebris was dead.

---

Eyes opened as a harsh white welcomed him back. Blinking slowly to adjust to the brightness, Vechs looked around, his eyes grazing across the room, taking in every detail including… Aurey.
Aurey was sitting beside the hospital bed, trying not to cry. “I’m sorry Vechs, Nebris killed himself. I snuck you out while Guude wasn’t around and the doctors were able to remove most of the poison. I’m so so sorry Vechs.”
Vechs groaned and sat up, rubbing his eyes. He watched as Aureylian crouched by his bedside, weeping softly. "A-Aurey... why did you do it? You could have come to me if you ever needed help with something..."
"I- It was just something I had t-to do." She shivered as she remembered the day she killed that person. "I never... never meant to hurt you Vechs, never meant to hurt anyone!"
Suddenly, it hit him. "Wait... Nebris is dead?" Vechs shook his head, laughing nervously. "T-there's n-no way...."
Aureylian took a deep breath, putting her hand on Vechs’s shoulder with tears in her eyes. "I-I saw h-him do it. H-he's... d-dead..."
"W-what? N-no. No way. Why would h-he do that?! I never wanted hi-him to die!" He shot upward, only to be greeted by a sharp pain in his back from where Guude had stepped on him earlier. He lay back down, still freaking out, but unable to do anything else. "W-where the hell is he? Wh-where did you take him?!"
Flinching, Aurey tried to break it to him gently. "Vechs. H-he's dead. I-I can show you the body..."
"Nonono, there's no way, there's no fucking way! You're joking with me right? Please tell me you're joking!" Vechs voice went up an octave, cracking as he became more and more frantic.
"Vechs, I'm not! I-I'm sorry, but it's the truth. There's nothing we can do about it." She brought Vechs close in a hug, never wanting to let go. "I never should have joined Guude," she whispered guiltily.
"Why me? How could this happen? W-what did I do to deserve this?!" Vechs wailed, tears streaming down his face. "I'll kill him! Where's Guude?! I HATE HIM!"
"Vechs... Nebris killed him. After you were proclaimed dead, he snapped and shot him."
"N-no! Please, stop joking. This isn't funny! This isn't a goddamned joke! Please, I'll do anything for him back!" Vechs curled up, sobbing loudly.
Pak poked his head through the door, and seeing Vechs up, walked in.
"Vechs! You- Oh. You told him?"
Aurey nodded sadly, wrapping an arm around Vechs as he shook with the force of his sobs.
"P-pak! T-tell Aurey to bring Nebs back! Please? "
Pak swallowed, looking down at his hands. "I'm sorry Vechs..."
Hearing those words, Vechs looked up, tears streaming down his face. "H-he's really gone, isn't he?"
Pak and Aurey nodded sadly, watching Vechs as he went limp, burying his head in his hands.
"I-I love him... loved..." Vechs looked up at the ceiling, squeezing his eyes shut as tears continued to flow down his cheeks. "...Nebris..."
Vechs’s voice was hollow; his eyes were empty. “H-he’s gone…”
“We’re sorry, Vechs…” A voice said, but he didn’t quite hear it as the world around him seemed to fade into gray, a bubble separating him from the rest of the world.
Someone waved a hand in front of his face, making him blink as stared into Aurey’s compassionate face. “V-Vechs, do you wanna go for a walk?”

Say something I’m giving up on you

Vechs shrugged weakly, uncaring. Aurey grabbed the man’s arm, leading him out the door. In the hall, blurry faces passing by in slow motion. Zisteau seemed to fade in on the other side of Vechs, grabbing his other arm as they trudged through passageways that seemed to blend in with each other. Aurey and Z tried to talk to Vechs, but he never responded, sunk in a trance.

I'll be the one if you want me to

Finally, they reached their destination. Vechs blinked tiredly as he felt the cold night air brush against his face, his shivering slightly.

Anywhere I would've followed you

It was cold, the wind biting through Vechs’s thin hospital gown as they approached the edge of the balcony. His tears were warm on his cheeks, the wind blowing them away.

Say something, I'm giving up on you

“V-Vechs?” Aurey looked at him, tears streaming down her face. “I-I’m sorry.”

And I... I'm feeling so small
It was over my head
I know nothing at all

Vechs realized Zisteau was sniffling, and turned to look at him, a concerned question forming on his lips.

And I... will stumble and fall

And suddenly, Vechs was being pushed, the wind rushing past him as he fell down.

I'm still learning to love

He didn’t feel the cold, hard concrete as he smashed against it, his blood splatering over the grey sidewalk as people screamed, rushing towards to help.

Just starting to crawl

But anyone could see it was too late. Vechs had joined Nebris.

Say something, I'm giving up on you...

They were finally together again, and would be, forever.

That was heartwrenching. You and your group have the honour of being the authors of the first fic that has made me cry, and not just, like, a tear in the corner of your eye, I mean full out cry. And that song at the end. Why?

*tears* heartwrenchingly amazing.

YOU DIDN'T CREDIT ME FOR IT
