OOG OTP Challenge Day 16: During their morning rituals

How Guude and BdoubleO spend their mornings.
Day 16: During their morning rituals
Guude awoke like he always did, in his queen sized bed, his head laying on his feather-filled green pillow, and his arms wrapped around the waist of his significant other, BdoubleO. He blinked his eyes a bit to adjust to the light entering in from the window, before quietly stepping getting out of bed, as to not wake up BdoubleO. Guude stretched a bit, before walking over to his closet, and grabbing a clean change of clothes, and heading to their bathroom for a shower.
Guude stripped himself of the boxers he wore to bed the night previous, and turned the faucet in the shower to the left, waiting for the water to heat up to the perfect temperature. Guude stepped into the shower, and grabbed the shampoo bottle, squirting some shampoo into his hands, and beginning to clean his hair. After being content with the cleanliness of his hair, Guude repeated the action with conditioner, before moving to body wash. Once Guude was washed, he stepped out of the shower, turning off the water, and dried himself off with a towel.
Guude put on his clean clothes, which consisted of the manliest pink boxers, blue jeans, and his typical green “G” t-shirt. Guude then applied his deodorant, knowing that he could easily make a place smell like a pig pen if he wasn't wearing any, and then looked in the mirror.
“Hm... “ Guude rubbed his hand off his cheek which was covered in blonde stubble. “Getting a bit long…” he said to no one in particular. Guude grabbed the shaving cream and razor, and quickly, but safely, dealt with the hair on his face. He then rubbed his hand over his now much softer face. “Much better”
Guude took a moment to look at himself in the mirror, making sure that nothing seemed out of the ordinary, which it didn’t. Guude went to exit the bathroom, and when he opened the door he was greeted by the sight of BdoubleO in his boxers, holding a change of clean clothes himself.
“Good morning Boo!” Guude said, leaning forward and giving BdoubleO a kiss on the cheek. “Sleep well?”
“Like a baby!” BdoubleO said with a smile, returning the kiss to his partner.
“That’s such a weird comparison, I mean, don’t babies like, not sleep?” Guude asked BdoubleO, then chuckled a bit as BdoubleO visually began to think about it.
“Hm, I guess you’re right… I slept well” BdoubleO said with a chuckle. “Now, although I’m sure you love seeing me shirtless, I think it’s about time I take my own shower” Guude rolled his eyes with a smile, then stepping aside to let BdoubleO into the bathroom.
As Guude heard the water begin to flow from the shower, he smiled as BdoubleO began to sing contentedly, lathering himself with soap and shampoo. He began to walk down the stairs to the kitchen to grab something small to eat, but on the fridge, as usual, he found a note saying "don't be so impatient, I'll cook in a minute" then BdoubleO's signature, making him smile. He sat down on the couch in the next room over and flicked on the television, using it mainly as background noise as he waited to hear the shower stop upstairs, then footsteps coming down the stairs.
Sure enough, less than 5 minutes later, Guude heard the shower turn off and BdoubleO coming down the stairs, whistling. He came into the kitchen, opening the fridge and grabbing out eggs, milk, and butter, then moving over to some cabinets for chocolate chips, flour, and a slight bit of salt and cinnamon sugar.
"Guude, do you want French toast, pancakes, or something else?" BdoubleO asked, calling out to him from the other room. Guude walked into the kitchen, giggling quietly as BdoubleO rummaged through some of the drawers to search for his cooking utensils.
"Can't we have something sweet, Boo? I'm kinda in the mood for-" Guude began to tell his partner, but BdoubleO held up a spatula to Guude's lips, smiling.
"Muffins, maybe?" BdoubleO asked, knowing already that his answer was correct.
"Those do sound good. Can we have the banana ones?" Guude asked, giving BdoubleO puppy-dog eyes, even though BdoubleO was already going to say yes.
"Of course. I'll throw in some chocolate chips for some added sweetness for the sweetest guy," BdoubleO said with a light kiss on Guude's cheek.
"Aww, Boo, you're pretty darn sweet yourself. I'm tempted to call you eye candy because of it," Guude replied with a humorous gleam in his eyes.
"That's pretty sweet there, Guude," BdoubleO said, getting out a muffin tin from underneath the kitchen counter and setting out a few bananas and chocolate chips beside it. "Now, are you sure all that buttering up wasn't just so you could have a taste of the batter?"
Guude grinned widely, shrugging innocently as if BdoubleO hadn't just pointed out his ulterior motives. "You know me. I'm just an honest guy with no reason to get my boyfriend to let me have a taste of his delicious muffins before they're done. Not here."
BdoubleO rolled his eyes with a smile, and then started cooking his homemade muffins. Soon enough, he was pouring his batter into a muffin tray, though not without letting Guude lick the spoon. He pushed the tray into the oven, set a timer and then waited. Guude and BdoubleO filled up the time with their usual small talk, until they were interrupted by a ‘ding!’ .
“Oh, muffins are done!” BdoubleO said with a smile, opening the oven up and putting on his oven mitts, before taking out the hot tray of perfectly cooked chocolate chip and banana muffins. He placed them on the counter, and Guude immediately went to grab one, but his hand was swatted away by BdoubleO.
“Guude, no! You have to let them cool!” BdoubleO said, causing Guude to frown.
“Aw, but Boo…” Guude said, walking up and placing his hand on BdoubleO’s shoulder, giving him a puppy dog frown, however BdoubleO was firm.
“No, you have to wait or else you’ll burn your tongue!”
“Okay, mom” Guude said with a mocking tone.
“I only want you to be safe Guude, and if that means I’m like your mom, so be it!” BdoubleO said, in a dramatic tone.
“I know, I know, I’m just joking guy” Guude said, once again rolling his eyes. “I’ll be a good boy and wait”
“Good. In the mean time, you can help me set the table” BdoubleO said with a smile, grabbing napkins, and glasses. The two poured themselves drinks, Guude a cup of coffee, and BdoubleO some orange juice, they set the table with the necessary items for breakfast, and then once all done, BdoubleO took out two small plates, and placed a muffin on both.
“One for you, and one for me” BdoubleO said with a smile, placing the plates on the table.
Guude excitedly picked up his muffin, inhaling deeply to take in the delicious smell of bananas and chocolate. "These smell amazing, Boo! Now, let's dig in!" Guude dove into his muffin, ravenously eating and by the time he decided to take a sip of his coffee, the muffin was nearly gone.
"Slow down, Guude!" BdoubleO said, chuckling. "You're gonna get-" As if on cue, Guude let out a high-pitched squeak. "-hiccups." BdoubleO began to laugh then, and Guude blushed pink, covering his mouth to quell any further embarrassing sounds. Unfortunately, it didn't help, as he instead jumped up slightly as he hiccuped again, only partially subduing the noise, which only made BdoubleO laugh harder.
"Stop laughing, da-" Guude told BdoubleO in a stern tone, only to be interrupted again by a hiccup. "Damn it!"
By this point, BdoubleO was cracking up, tears starting to form at the corner of his eyes as he laughed more and more at each of Guude's attempts to stop his hiccups.
“Alright, alright, I’ll help” BdoubleO said, wiping away a tear from his eye, finally recovering from laughter. “Y’know, you get rid of the hiccups by holding your breath” BdoubleO said. Guude was about to respond, when BdoubleO leaned forward, grabbed Guude’s chin, and began kissing him. When the kiss finally ended Guude was blushing intensely.
“Bet that took your breath away” BdoubleO said with a wink.
