Ahhhgh, I couldn't get my internet to work all day, I feel so behind.

Anyway, PREVIOUSLY ON ISI'S MINDCRACK MOD ADVENTURES:

Village shenanigans and epic staring contests. Too bad I didn't stick around to find out who wins.

Nebris and Adlington are secure in the village, while Kurt and Guude are still back home somewhere. But I wasn't prepared to join the two groups yet. In fact I wasn't sure which way my starting point was. Come to think of it, I think I was looking for home when I set out and found Adlington instead. As will become quite apparent, I've got a pretty unreliable sense of direction. But then I remembered something about the sun's position and used that to stagger my way back. I did a bit more poking around my home base, this time heading east (and leaving a torch trail this time) into a pine forest. Before long, I spot a new friend.

It's Shree! Making good progress. But then I run into another one while leading him back.

My first set! I figure I would take advantage of the breeding feature and get two of everyone, so this is perfect. So nice of the Shrees to make it easy for me.

I set off back into the pine forest to see if my luck would continue. And there is indeed more to be found!

Who's that lurking in the periphery?

Why it's JSano! On a side note, one small advantage to having a slower system is sometimes you can see mob forms in the distance before the scenery loads around it. This ends up helping me a lot.

I return JSano home without incident and decide to try going south this time. I no sooner leave the immediate area than spot someone in the leaves.

Good ol' BsingleOsingleO. Already we've got some OOG happening. It's a short walk back to the pen and I set off again.

Eventually I find JSano #2. Looking around some more, there were a couple other JSanos hanging around. I found this one beneath this picturesque natural arch, so I named it after him.

Can't even turn around for the picture. Dang guy.

I decide I'm confident enough to find my way to the village and back in one go, so I head off to pick up Nebs and Adles. But then-- Hey sheep, who's that behind you?

It's Pakratt in his Pondery robes, so of course I double back to add him to my rapidly growing collection.

I find the desert again and retrieve the two village idiots. I don't get completely lost this time finding my way back.

So here's where it gets fun. After dropping off Nebris and Adlington, I go back to camp at the village and branch off exploring from there. I set off in some direction leaving my trail of torches and get quite a ways out without seeing anything. It was getting late, so I tried to double back, taking a slightly different route to cover new ground. You'd think that'd be a simple task, but I manage to botch it pretty bad. I couldn't see any of the torches I left earlier, and nothing looked familiar. In fact the entire biome was wrong. I had no idea where I was.

Night set in, along with my growing panic. But in the setting sun I saw a distant figure. I ran to it.

Just Defy! Man, am I glad to see you, but we're not safe here. I build some fortifications in the water to wait out the night.

I had found a Just Defy, but I was still lost. I decided to leave him there until I had a better idea of where I was and where to go.

I found myself in an endless swamp. I decided I hate swamps. There aren't many landmarks, it's slow moving in the water, and with the dense peppering of lily pads, boating isn't an option. I actually tried a boat at one point. It lasted all of five seconds.

But to either console or agitate my frustrations, there are also people.

In all I find a Beef, a second Nebris, and another Just Defy. I'm still too lost to feel comfortable leading them anywhere, so I pen them up on an island and hope I can find them again.

But this damn swamp, man. I try derp pillaring up and temporarily turning up my view distance, but even then I manage to lose sight of where I was ten seconds earlier. And now it's night time again.

And now it's raining. Of course it is.

How do I get out of this this mess? Find out next time.

Wow, you've found a lot rather quickly. And what is Minecraft if you're not getting lost all the time? Still, you're not Kurt! It's okay to use F3 and to write down your cords! XD

Ahahaha, you make a good point, and I have definitely played on computers not powerful enough to use F3 without shifting. But now you can! So don't get lost! XD A compass could help, too...

Aha, I know the feeling of getting lost and being unable to use the co-ords because of the graphs. The compass was a blessing for me before you could turn off the graphs.

Love these :D Now if only they could interbreed.
