Mindcrack Love: an alternative Mindcrack community

1) I was wondering when someone would ask about this! (Also, a detail that was mentioned early on was that Seth had recently invented the camera.) The reason I did this bizarre time period merging in fact was inspired by Minecraft's odd mix itself. Most of the more modern technology is only available to the worldbuilders as they don't actually have the ability to make these things: they run on a lot of that weird worldbuilder magic residue mentioned previously. There are a few scattered exceptions that work because Seth and a few others are goddamn geniuses and can use redstone. The initial chapter of monstrous makes this a but confusing and there are a lot of continuity errors between Monstrous and Residual and I apologize for that- I wrote Monstrous so quickly that I didn't really think ahead and had to change my mind later.

2) That was a bit of an awkward transition, I'll admit, but I very much wanted to open the chapter that way. I am by no means perfect so oops. XD

3) The end was not meant to be suspenseful- I ended the chapter there as it was getting long and I wanted to end on something that made you really want to get to the next chapter- wanting to know what their conversation will be about. I mostly just needed to tie it in to the opening italicized paragraph.
