Sorry it took so long :) I've not been too happy with it ;_; but after multiple rewriting Its better than I hoped. But now with added mindcrackers xD

Pyro's bace.

Doc flew quietly over the spawn village, he got everything Pyro and himself would need, he landed softly on the wood floor and dropped a few of the ingredients to the floor.

"dude! I got the stuff, where would you want it?" He shouted. He knew Pyro was around, he would hear

"Oh your back?" Pyro ran out to his 'deck' to help Doc with all the ingredients "you are just in time. Come on through I got it all set up" he walked over the deck and to his room he had made especially for this magic. Doc followed looking at all the golums busy with farm's, helping make essence. He studied each one for future reference. how they where built. what made them tick.

"They are really good helpers" Pyro nodded from his cauldron, he noted Docs interest in the workers "you can borrow one to look at if you'd like? Just.. No dissection here! I'm no good with that stuff.." he nodded to the floor of the cauldron indicating he could drop the ingediants there.

"Damn!" Doc chuckled "later is better anyway, we have work to do man!" He was looking forward to this, Pyro had offered his own bace away from spawn as he had more equipment. Pyros very cautious doc noted as he watched the young man working with his essences, he didn't want to burden others with any flux effects doc could help but find it strange. he himself had stayed at spawn even though he loved thaumcraft.... all he needed was a few silverwood trees... maybe its just because hes the youngest and newer member? he shook his head and picked up a few torches and began to throw some into the cauldron. it was time for working.

"Looks good" Pyro said smiling broadly at there hard work it looked like a glass scrying ball. It was the same size just filled with a purple smoke and a few leaves danced inside of it, " it is abit different to what's in the book though" he glanced at doc. He opened the book of magic and found the page and held it up in the torchlight - it was pitch black outside they had worked well into the night.. he could hear zombies trying to find them... It had took longer than he had expected

"it says it will be diffrent for each place we use it for" he mentioned as he studied the book, "i imagine the nether would be red or black..." he thought outloud as pyro nodded in agreement still studying the ball carefuly. Thaumcraft was enjoyable, but Doc had a respect for Pyro as young as he was, He had flung himself head first into it and came out swimming, not drowning.. he was the furthest ahead and probably knew more about it than anyone else.

It's nice having someone who understands something to have a intelegant conversation.. "It's time to go to spawn I suppose?" Doc mentioned as he got his jetpack and collected the few ingrediants that where lying about. Pyro nodded carefully placing the glasslike ball into a small bag. He put on his jetpack and took off leading Doc back to spawn. In the dark he still knew the route by heart.

Pause

It was awkward... A lot more awkward than he would have assumed.. He kept his eyes forward and just kept walking.. He didn't know where but it would be nice to get out if spawn at least.. I can't believe baj would be such a dick.... Well I do but.. I'm gonna kill him.. He sighed shaking his head at all the events.. His life just couldn't be simple could it? Cursed maybe? He chuckled to himself at the thought it seemed like it but he couldnt help a small smile as the sun broke through the clouds, for all the rain on the server.. It was nice to have Abit of Sun now and again, he walked further not noticing ow he weaves as he avoided shadows of trees and hills. It was too quiet though. He quickly stole a glance from behind and saw Beef.

Head down, hands in pockets, following his footprint, glancing every now and then at the changing scenery. He was like a zombie...

"N...nice weather eh?" Pause tried to joke to break the tention not knowing what else to say.. He couldn't help but cringe at how stupid it sounded.. The weather... Really? How damn stupid can you be..?

Beef shrugged "not bad.." He replied.

Pause steeled himself.. I dont kow what to say.. How am i meant to ask?

"Oh fuck!" He fell back in fright... Beefs head snapped up as he rushed over "a portal? But how,,there wasn't one hear!" Pause mumbled looking around., he was sure there hadn't. He had came this way before. The shock of it appearing out f nowhear had thrown him back. Well. It's convenient, I wanted out of hear I got a way out. Pause looked at Beef quickly he was still studying the portal, keeping a distance though. Pause grinned and laughed the portal made thngs more intresting now..

"Im going in"

"Why?"

"It's an adventure Beef.. Brighten up. Like the good ol' days" he crouched as he glanced at Beef "coming? Or are you chicken?"

And with that he jumped into the portal as Beef sat staring.

Beef

Oh god.. He sighed why me? Beef closed his eyes as he readied himself to jump into the portal "Damn you Pause" he growled as he jumped in after the native closing is eyes. The twilight forest was pretty. But it was dangerous... Maybe it was a bad idea?

"Offt.." He groaned pulling himself up using a nearby tree.. "That hurt..." He sighed portals.. He could never land on his feet he turned to see Pause laughing his head off on top of a hill..

CHEEP CHEEP!!!

"Get away from there you ideot" shouted Pause " it has a nest, it's protecting it.." Pause shook his head as he backed away slowly covering his head with his hands..

"It attacked me first.." He growled sitting on the ground by a safe tree as pause explored nearby, how come no animals attacked him..

"It's common scence. Spring and summer. There is going to be baby birds." Pause popped his head around the tree to glare "so just stay away from them ok?"

He sighed and put his head in his hands.. This isn't good.. He looked up something wasn't right.. "Pause.." He called getting up and walking to where he had landed as Pause stood nearby "Pause.. Where did the portal go.." He looked around nervously this really isn't good...

"Um.. Good Question... It was right hear when I came out... I didn't notice it when you got spewed out on your but" Pause chuckled

"This... isn't a time to laugh!" Beef snapped and Pause bit his tounge glaring.. "where the hell did it go.. We can't get back without building a new one and that could bring us out anywhere!!!" He paced back and forth scratching his head.

"We'll that's bad news bares.." Pause mumbled "didn't you bring a compas or a map?" He asked siting on the grass

"Why would I. I didn't plan on cooking on some crack pot adventure!" He shouted instantly regretting loosing his cool.. But he couldn't help it.. Pause turned away looking at the ground "sorry.. I just wanted to get away from spawn.." He mumbled making a small hole in the grass with his foot "I didn't think this would happen..."

"Well it has. Hasn't it!" Beef sighed and stormed off to a nearby rockface better make a shelter.. Looks like we are hear for awhile..

Pause watched as Beef walked off.. Well this is going great.. Well done...

Spawn

"Haha.. Stupid Beef and Pause" Anderz chuckled happily as they sat in Pyros spawn house, Everyone was sat circling the glass ball Doc and Pyro brought back, it was simply showing some images of two guys in a murky forest. Beef and Pause. The ball was high level thaumcraft, Pyro looked quickly at Doc who nodded, it took a lot of concentration to work, Pyro had sit and think about the twilight forest and the two inside it.. If he broke concentration the image would vanish leaving the smoke.. It was working fine but it took a lot of energy from the person controlling it.. But with Pyro controlling.. Doc could wreck havoc, it acted like a portal.. But it could be used to mess with people, they had removed the portal from the twilight forst.. It was still there Beef and Pause just couldn't see it.

It was Baj's idea, he had asked himself and Doc it was possable. something that would force them to work together. Everyone knew by now the problems thys where having.. Milbee had even agreed only a few hours ago to the plan.. He seemed determined Pause would reject Beef again... once Milbee had agreed Baj, Anderz and Zisteau had took some invisibility potions and created a portal right in front of them, good think Baj knows Pause so well. Pyro though as he concentrated on the ball, hopefully they are ok..?

"Relax Pyro." Baj muttered as he sat by the young man " they are fine. Anyway me and Anderz can go rescue the princess's anytime" he joked

Pyro jumped at Baj's sudden input, he sighed as he lost the image in the ball, it soon popped up again as doc took over for him. "Yeah I know. I just don't know if we should be interfering.." He glanced at the ball again Beef was amost finished his shelter and had started on the fire. Baj put a hand on his shoulder

"look its not your fault, Pause and Beef.. They are stubborn. If we don't do something it will stay like this for a long time.." He sighed "plus Guude disappeared, anderz saw him flying off but we couldn't find him.." He shrugged looking at the whole crowd who had gathered...

Anderz was chatting with Zisteau about the finer details of wither fights as Kurt sat nearby with his companion wolfie asleep at his feet he seemed intrested but unsure on how to join the conversation untill anderz asked him a question, he nodded in agreement smiling and began to add small snippits to the conversation as zisteau gave him encouragement on the achivement.

TheJims Pakratt and Etho where discussing redstone and TNT for projects quietly beside the wall, they looked like a Gang planning here next move whispering back and forward glancing at Nebris who was leaning on the wall nearby looking slightly bored with Mc Gamer who was in a deep lecture of lapis and how amaizng it was..

Baj couldn't help but find it strange how everyone could be so broken apart. But as soon as someone needs help everyone is togther willing to lend a hand... Baj glanced again at Pyro, he was a good guy, he was one of the newer people to the community, he hadn't managed to make a friends very well, everyone had been busy with projects, some who hadn't been busy had made a effort but it was still hard to come into a large group... So what are you doing? Your one of the oldest hear.. He needs young guys like himself...

Slam!

"What the hell is going on!!!" Cried a voice..

Baj jumped out of his thoughts turning to see Pyro's face in shock, he slowly turned around to see two figures in the doorway of a once closed door.

Oh... Balls Baj thought as he sighed.. Explanations..

The Forest

Moving towards the warm fire beef sighed taking off his sodden shoes and placing them by the fire to dry, they had some fish on the fire cooking and a small makeshift rack made from sticks to dry there wet clothes on. It had began to rain in the forest while Beef had gone fishing and Pause had collected some wood. They were now trapped together inside the shelter without much to do and only each other.. Embaressed at his anger at Pause Beef didn't particularly feel like talking. He sat and began to make a few torches to use inside the cave and lighting up areas around it when it dried.

"What are we going to do.. We can't stay hear forever.." Pause asked quietly breaking the science, he sat on his side of the fire huddled in a ball watching the flames...

"We have to stay around this area.." Beef replied bluntly not taking his eyes off his handiwork "the portal is still around hear, you can feel it.."

Pause looked on at the fire "d'you think its a prank from Baj or something?" Beef snorted

"Yea.. Real funny.... No it's not a prank.. Buti know someone's behind it, this stuff doesn't just happen." He looked up at Pause who was still gazing intently n the fire "look.. Pause I'm sorry I shouted at you.." He sighed as the native have a small shrug

"I deserved it.." He replied quietly

"You didn't.. That's why I'm apologising"

A shrug again.. Beef was ready to throw a unlit torch at him "fine.. I'm going to bed.." He got up and moved over the the modded side of the cave, Beef had tried to make it as homely as possible.. He hated being away from his saws and micro blocks... He lay In bed for hours watching as the light got dimmer as the fire began to out, eventually leaving only a small glow in the space from the hot embers and a few torches Beef had placed on the walls. He still hadn't heard or saw Pause move, is he still sitting there..?

"Beef..." Whispered a voice

"Yes?" He replied whispering

"What... What do you think of Pyro?"

Beef moved himself up on one arm trying to see throught the darkness "he's a nice guy, tried hard and he's not a bad builder either.." He replied honestly "why?"

"Why do you like him?" Pauses voice was beginning to gain confidence

Beef narrowed his eyes in Pause's voice direction "he is a hard worker.. Y'know same for everyone I like.." He sighed "why are you so hyped up about Pyro what's he ever done to you?" Beef stung slightly hoping it would provoke a honest .. Angry maybe.. But honest reply

Pause sighed you have no idea... "Nothing. Just wondering why you lie so much" Pause hit back

"Lying? How am I lying!" Beef called out in supprise. He was not a lier...

Pause got up and moved to his bed sitting down.. "Because its obviously you like him more than others!"

Beef had no idea what had just happened.. What the hell was this? Csi? "What are you getting jealous or something?" ......

"That's it isn't it!? Your jelouse?"

"SHUT UP!"

Beef sat up unable to comprehend the immiturity of him"WILL YOU GROW UP!"

"Oh yeah I will just go and be all mature like little mr Pyro!" Cause that's what you want huh!?" Pause snapped "maybe I'm immature but at least I can tell people how I feel!" He had seen red he moved from his bed and began putting things from his chest into his bag

Beef sat in his bed watching and hearing everything feeling nothing "well, to just did anyway" Beef snapped quietly listening to the noises of things being pushed into his bag.. "you go live in the forest. I'm going home.." He sighed turning over in bed away from the Indian who had paused as the words bit him.. even im a liar now.. i never could tell him... he turned away and began collecting his his bow and arrows and the quiver he had made He closed the bag quickly and swung ot over his shoulder taking the bed and chest he began walking out the cave.. There was nothing.. Bye Beef... It was nice knowing you I suppose.. He turned slowly and walked out the hole that was the entrance into the wet forest running for cover...

I have to stay hear.. What if I don't find a way out.. He looked around in the murky darkness He spotted a small cave that he had sen earlier, it was on the other side of the small river... Perfect.. He ran to it and hurriedly began a small fire to last him the night.. Preying the rain would stop soon

Beef heard his friend leave.. He got up and looked at the bare hollow.. Goodbye Pause.. He slowly turned to the fire and began to build it to last the night, part of him hoping.. That tonight was just a nightmare.. Please.. Please let it be a nightmare he thought as he got back into his warm cocoon of blankets... sleep didn't come easy.. If it did he would always be awoken by the sound of someone leaving...
