I heard Vechs say ‘Ouch’ and then I walked outside.
“Hi Aurey!” Vechs said.
“Did you fall over?”
“Ya, I did.” he turned around and put the picture of Void on the board. I looked at the ground, to see what he tripped over, and I saw Void’s black ring on Vechs finger. I took a step back.
“What’s wrong, Aurey?” he asked.
“Nothing. I’m fine” I tried to run. Time slowed down.
“Sorry, Aurey.” Vechs grabbed my arm.
“Why are you acting so weird?” I asked. “You’re not acting like yourself, Vechs.”
“Maybe I’m acting not like Vechs, because I’m not Vechs. I am your worst nightmare.” he said.
“Vechs, your n-? Wait, you’re Void!”
“Nice job, Aurey, darling.”
“Don’t call me that!”
“You can’t tell anyone, Aurey, darling.”
“Why not?”
“Because, if you do, I’ll kill him. And I know you don’t want that, do you little Aurey?” he grinned.
“Where is he!?”
“His soul is stuck on my finger.” he held up his ring. “Where you can’t get him.”
“I will get Vechs out of your ring and I will stop you.” I said, I pulled out of his grip and snapped my fingers.
“Silly Aurey, you can’t do magic.”
“Oh, really.” I sent a blast of fire at his head, he ducked and time speed back up. I ran home.
I ran to my stack of books and pulled out a book called ‘Breaking Spells for Durps’. I flipped to the page called ‘Is someone you know soul stuck in a object?’ The ring was still on his finger, so I was going to have to adapt the spell. I needed to grab a lot of flowers.
I ran around looking for every single flower, and that took FOREVER. I pulled one petal off of every flower, and I tossed the petals into the jar, and added glitter. The glitter makes the spell fly off his finger. The flowers actually make the spell work. I snuck over to Vechs house. I pried the mixture on him. The ring popped of his finger and hovered in the air for one second. Void started waking up.
“Crap.” I hit him in the head with my glass jar and he conked out. I felt a little bat settle on my shoulder.
Hi Aureylain. Vechs said.
Hi Vechs.
Can you step outside for a minute.
Why?
Because I don’t have any clothes on. Vechs said. I blushed and ran outside.
