So I received my good friend in the Prompt Swap this time, Salt. This is my (just barely on time) first chapter of one of the prompts listed.

"4. Charlie and the Chocolate factory, Mindcrack version."

So, here we go!

---

Five men stood at the gates of the large factory. A shifty eyed fellow, a mob hybrid, an oddly quiet guy, a mischievous fellow, and a masked man. Sethbling stared at them from the second floor window, wondering which it would be. He broke the glass pane with a pick, throwing out an Ender Pearl before replacing the window. He landed with a flourish of particles, and an Endermite, immediately killed by the half mob half man, nipped at his ankles.

Sethbling began to speak. "Hello, friends. As you know, I'm more or less moving onto a better place in life. Redstone doesn't interest me as it used to, and I've made the decision to pause any redstone endeavors indefinitely. However, this factory cannot go to waste, mainly due to the resources and time put into it, as well as its contents and unfinished requests. You five were the winners of the redstone contest I put out."

He paused for a moment, turning to the green man. "DocM, you won first place with your farm design. Excellent use of redstone, amazingly useful contraption, and a good sense of design." He turned to the ninja. "Etho, your game design won second place. While it isn't a particularly useful project, the redstone behind it is near flawless and it looks beautiful ascetically."

Etho thanked him, and Doc followed that gesture hastily.

"Vechs, congratulations on third place. While your redstone-based Super Hostile cutout wasn't too... useful..." Vechs giggled. "It certainly showed you know your way around the system, and your aesthetic eye is second to none.

"Pakratt, a solid fourth place for your TNT cannon. I might have judged yours higher if it had been a more unique design, or significantly more pleasing to the eye, but placing doesn't quite matter once you reach these gates." Pakratt nodded and shrugged.

"Nebris. Congratulations to you, just barely beating out GenerikB. Granted, you somehow had the exact same idea and execution as him, but yours actually worked when I tested it. But again, in the end, you're at the gates." Sethbling and Nebris stared at each other, playing a worthless game of 'Try to derive secrets from staring into each other's eyes with an angry expression."

In the end, Sethbling broke the eye contact, turning back to the large gates. He threw a single piece of Iron, named no doubt, onto the ground in front of them, and watched the gates slide open on their pistons.

"Welcome to SethFactory!"

Ooooooh. Interesting. Huge Charlie and the Chocolate Factory fan here. (Actually, I prefer the original, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, but I digress).

I look forward to moar!
