Super Adorabolical--Chapter Two
Monday, August 25th, 2014 11:01 pmTwo nights in a row? I'm spoiling y'all!
Warning for torture and blood I suppose. Not too violent, but whatever. I'm gonna make this a gritty series I think.
Vechs opened the chest that sat next to the rule wall. Inside were some basic items. A stone sword, two pieces of bread, and a pair of boots. He equipped said boots and drew the sword, then headed towards the only available path.
As soon as he was out of the spawn chamber, all hell broke loose. There were alcoves on either side of the path, and each one apparently had creeper spawners inside. The green monsters walked out, hissing and blinking white, ready to explode. Vechs ran forward, past the alcoves, hoping to avoid getting blown up.
On the wall in front of him was a sign that read: "Oh, hai there. You made it past those creepers I see. Well, be ready for more surprises."
Vechs shook his head. "Hey, Aurey? That was kinda mean."
"Yeah?" She replied. "Well now you know how I felt throughout your map." The scorn was evident in her voice.
"Listen," Vechs started "I don't think this map is balanced right. That's too many mobs right off the bat." He sighed. "I think I should come out and help you try to balance it."
"Ha!" Aureylian laughed without mirth. "No, you my Vetchy, are staying right where you are until you finish that monument. And if you start to break rules, I will make your existence a living hell. You might even wish you were dead."
Vechs was shocked at her sudden mood swing. "Aurey," he replied. "It's just a map. No one actually dies in these. My maps aren't evil or anything, just a game!"
"Vechs." She said in a no-nonsense voice. "Your maps cause hundreds of people pain on a daily basis. I've seen what your maps do to people who aren't prepared to feel like they're dying, who aren't prepared for the stress. Someone has to stand up for these people. Maybe by the end of this, you'll know how we feel." With that, Vechs heard her click the microphone off.
Was it true? Did his maps ruin people's lives, their minds even?
And was Aureylian really trying to get revenge? He didn't know. And if he just sat here pondering those questions, he'd starve to death and lose what little supplies he did have.

Several hours--and a pint or two of blood--later, Vechs arrived at the first intersection. She'd really pulled out all the stops for this map. There had been spawners, potion traps, arrow traps, stacked mobs, pitfalls, tnt. If it was a trap, it had probably been used. His sword had broken in the first ten minutes of fighting, his boots seconds later. He'd eaten his bread early out of necessity, so now he was stuck with zombie flesh. His knuckles were bloodied from punching monsters left and right, he had arrows stuck un several spots, and some shrapnel from a creeper blast had left a nasty gash across his face. But he was alive and safe. For now.
Walking into the safe room by the intersection, he noticed a couple of signs. He stopped to read them. "Well, here's the first intersection. Hope you still have that sword because it's not getting replaced for a while. Oh, and don't get your hopes up about real food, either."
Vechs shook his head and plopped down in the safety room. Maybe a couple hours' sleep would help him survive a bit easier tomorrow.

Vechs awoke chained to the ceiling, feet inches above the ground. Disoriented, he looked around the room, trying to help him figure out where he was.
Then Aureylian appeared out of thin air. Her usual white dress had been swapped out for a blood red one. "Hello, Vechs." She said. "Oh, I might have forgotten to mention something. Every night after you fall alseep, you will be brought to this chamber. Can you guess what happens here?"
He looked around, shoulders feeling like they would pop out of their sockets. Then he noticed it. A table full of torture devices. "Yeah, I have an idea or two."
"Good!" She smiled. "Then let's begin!"
"Aurey! This is cra-ow!" Vechs started. He was cut off, however by a knife sticking out of his thigh.
"You will not speak unless I tell you to, okay?" He nodded in reply.
This was going to be a long map.
Thoughts? Comments? Screams of PAIN AND SUFFERING?
