Thursday, August 7th, 2014 08:55 pmPirates!.. This is the finale,(For now.) of the Boulderfist. So I hope you enjoy, and I reeeally hope I didn’t let you all down with this ending.

The arrow struck him just below the heart.
“Beef!” It was Vechs. Beef had just jumped in front of an arrow that was meant for him.
“Vechs.” Beef mumbled.
“Why the Hell did you do that, you idiot?!” Vechs said, rushing to his friend.
“Nobody else was going to lose someone they loved. I see the way you and her look at each other. Its obvious, Vechs.”
“You didn’t have to get yourself hurt!”
“It was that, or you’d have died. She would have lost you. Too many have lost loved ones. Not letting it happen again.”
“Dammit Vinty!”
At that, Beef lifted his hand, and smacked Vechs as hard as he could. Which wasn’t very hard in the state he was in.
“Told you.” Beef told him. Those were the last words Beef spoke. He was dead.
Vechs looked up, to see that the battle was nearly done. Willakers was unconcious, apperantly. Aurey was looking down at Vechs, pale faced. Beef was one of her favorite people on the boat. He was always really nice to her. He just died, so she wouldn’t lose someone she loved.
“ I got him.” Aurey said, rather solumnly. She knew Z and Beef were Vechs’ best friends. She knew what it was like to lose best friends.
“Is he dead?”
“No, I figured I’d let you do the honors.”
“Thank you, very much. I’d love that honor.”
And with that, Vechs got up, a new bit of rage in his eyes. He got to Willakers, and pulled him up by his shirt.
“This is for my friends.” Vechs said to him, plunging his sword into the other man’s stomach. Killing him, near instantly.
An hour later, after they had gotten their fallen crewmates back onto their boat, Vechs stood, watching the boat that his friends had died on.
“Vechs? You’ve been standing there for almost an hour.” Aurey told him, startling him.
In response, he took the nearest lit gas lantern, and threw it to the other boat, and walked off. He had started a fire that would consume Willakers’ ship, and him with it. When they got back to port ZEL, they had another small ceremony for the dead of that day. They buried the dead and began back to the ship. Aurey was worried about Vechs, he hadn’t said a word since he killed Willakers. He wouldn’t talk to anyone, not even her, who he talked to all the time.
“Vechs, you okay?”
He just shrugged, as if to say,”I just lost my two best friends, what do you think?” Like he had been since he stepped off the ship.
“Cheer up.” She said, walking in front of him to stop him,”You are still alive. Lot’s of your friends are still alive, we killed the man who killed our friends and family, and you’re moping all over the place.”
“They were my best friends. They consoled me when I was angry, they brought the good side of me to light, they made me who I am. Without them, I wouldn’t be on that boat. Guude would have thrown me in the ocean. I would probably have been killed by all the people who are now friends. I saw them both die. I couldn’t save them.”
“I know what its like to lose friends. Don’t ever think you’re alone in that.” She said.
“I know.”
They reached the boat, and what remained of the crew started up. Aurey had gone back over to Vechs.
“Should I go?”
“Where?”
“The ship. We killed Willakers. That was a big reason I came on the boat in the first place.”
“Well, if you must leave, know there’ll always be someone out there who loves you.” With that, he reached down and kissed the top of her head.
In response, she wrapped her arms around his neck and pressed her lips against his.
“Think we should leave them?” It was Guude, talking to Avidya.
“Throw them a lifeboat, then we set sail.”
“Gotcha.” Guude said, laughing.
Breaking the kiss, they walk over to the lifeboat, and Vechs gets in. Aurey seemed hesitant.
“You coming, Relly?”Vechs asked,”Come on. I’ll keep you safe, I promise.”
“Now where have I heard that before?” She asked, getting into the boat.

Right. That’s the finale, for now. I will go back into pirates a bit later, but for now I want to write some other things. Hope you enjoyed, and as usual, feedback all the things! Also, sorry if this was to short for your liking.
