Of Fire and Light Chapter 3

"Vechs is rooming with Aureylian because he doesn't actually hate her," announced Paul, "not because of anything else. Nebris, you are rooming with Etho. Anyway, today we are going to The Nether!" Everyone was interested. Paul brought the kids down to the basement, where he instructed them to "just stand in the portal, it's fine". They all appeared inside the nether, where the portal spawned in a large fort. Paul, amazed, told them to hustle back to the Overworld so they could get weapons. Etho picked an iron knife and everyone else took swords. Returning to the Nether to loot the fortress, they found Blazes lying in wait. Etho was the first to react, throwing his dagger at the nearest Blaze and killing it. Nebris teleported behind another and decapitated it, while Vechs slashed the last one repeatedly. The Blazes didn't stand a chance. Aureylian noticed two of the Blazes had dropped  shimmery hot things . She picked them up and gave it to Paul. He was overjoyed, they would now be able to brew awesome potions, they could go back home now, where was Vechs?

Meanwhile, Vechs was exploring the fortress. He had run through the ancient structure, destroyed much of the local flora, and stumbled upon a large room with a cracked obsidian altar and a creepy book on it. He started reading the creepy words on the page.

Aureylian started running through the corridors, determined to find Vechs and get him back home. She heard Vechs' voice coming from the room next to her. She ran round to the other side and ran into the room. Vechs was still chanting. She yelled at him to stop. That did absolutely nothing. She walked up and pulled the book from his hands. Then she tore the page out and threw it into the lava. And then she dragged Vechs after her back to the portal.

Paul was discussing brewing. "So for brewing, we need nether wart, which I guess we could easily buy, but it would be easier to just harvest it."  Aureylian appeared with Vechs, who was clutching a book in his hand.
"I found this in a creepy dungeon room," said Vechs,. 
Paul ignored Vechs and continued speaking. "If we want to get Fire Resistance potions, we will have to get Magma Cream. Anyone know the Recipe for Magma Cream?"
Aureylian blushed.
"Blaze powder and a slime ball thingy?" asked Vechs
"Absolutely right."

ohohohohoho, you have been reading WAY to much Gomt. Very interesting, though I preferred the AU. For all the wrong reasons. (shame face (not really))


reference is the thing on the tall cracked thing, that made Vechs chant. Other reference is itself, you put the name of the story right into your story itself.
