Guy in the Cloak ~Part 2~
Thursday, April 10th, 2014 06:28 pm A clue in this one as to who one of the guys are...
"Its no use, you aren't going to get out." The obsidian chamber echoed with the sound a door being opened and footsteps. "I wouldn't want you to get hurt, Pause." The captor spoke slowly and with a hint of annoyance. "I don't care, I would rather die than be in here." The hooded man raised his eyebrows slightly and turned to the other person in the room. "Now Beef, you wouldn't your friend here to get hurt now would you?" It wasn't Beef that spoke up. " He wouldn't care either, seeing as he was the one that got us in this mess!" Beef scurried up to his feet , finding painful cramps, and struggling to keep his balance while he responded. “Well maybe if you hadn't left me-" The sound of metal striking metal rang though the room. “Could you two stop bickering, I'm meant to keep you two alive not have you kill each other." This time the hooded man earned stares of anger and frustration. The captor sighed before leaving, slamming the door on his way out.
Pause gave him a rude gesture before trying his luck at escaping again.
~~~~~
The cold and snow rapped itself around Blame as if it was a heavy blanket, strangling him. He was walking in circles. When BTC finally found the door to his house, his legs fell from underneath him. Blame's teeth were chattering like a machine gun, chattering so much that he hadn't realized that it wasn't even his house. Blame opened the door, and crawled through.
The heat shook him, BTC kept crawling, closer and closer to the fireplace. He sat in front of it and started to feel sleepy. After about two minutes he was fast asleep.
~~~~~
The heavy diamond sword in Anders hand made him look brave. On the inside though, he was nervous as if he was a deer being chased by a tiger. It had been five minutes since he heard the door slam. The viking had no planned guests and even in a snowstorm a guest would have knocked before letting themselves in. Creeping around the corner, he felt relief flood though him. A cold BTC had curled up next to the fire, he was sound asleep.
Anders sighed, although he did question why Blame was here, and why he was out in a snowstorm in the first place.
“Don’t look so happy, Blame isn’t the only uninvited guest here.” Before the viking could attack, The hooded man had his hands around Anders throat.
~~~~~
Blame woke to the sound of Anders. “Run! He’s here! Just go!” BTC jumped to his feet. He saw that it was no use fighting the hooded man, although it looked like he had his hands full with Anders. BTC ran out of the door with his heart in his mouth. Blame was no longer caring about the cold and his body was filled with adrenaline. He ran forever before looking behind him. All he saw was the white flakes of a snowstorm. BTC now knew where he was. Spawn was just over the hill! With a sigh, Blame carried on at a steady jog, and by the time he was at spawn, the snowstorm had subsided.
~~~~~
“It’s not my fault!” One of the hooded men said before being slapped with such force that he was knocked over. “Not your fault! Are you insane, we were doing fine before!” There was a deadly silence until a loud bark and a wine from a tamed wolf made one man leave while saying. “You can leave, that’s fine with me, but understand that you will be my next target.”
Part 3 will be out in two days when my school holidays start.
