"It's not about the art, it's about the fan": Fanart Friday

Happy Friday everyone. Last week Ms. Mod said that anything drawn for last week would be featured this week, and we had some art last week! We had kissingpigmen's fanfiction fanart featuring Kurt and Zisteau, mzrootbeer's Docm and AnderZel art, my Phantom of the Opera/ Orange Wool crossover thing, and I suppose Six's adorable Orange Wool doodle could qualify as well.

Current sketch topic? Hmm... What's your favorite joke on the server? This could take the form of Nebris cheating in some way, the thing that Arkas built, Beef having problems with gravity, or something completely different. I admit this might have been inspired by watching Cobblehaters (both the rewatch and current) and giggling at "Pakratt in da hood."

I like this "favorite joke" idea - can't wait to see what people come up with! (Also, I'm currently watching Doc's new Mindcrack which is named "Why Etho, Slabs?" ...which is also a great joke in a silly way. :P)

Oh wow, I missed most of that fanart, great stuff guys. Kurt cuddling a huge zombie pigman is especially awesome to me for some reason. Perhaps a whole "Beauty and the Beast" thing going there. Kurt thinks he's unlovable due to insecurity reasons, Zisteau think he's unlovable for "hideous monster" reasons, etc. IDK.

As for favorite jokes on the server, I'm not really sure, but I know I do get tired of some of them. Usually not from the Mindcrack guys themselves, but when the fans take it too far. Baj's wheat obsession, Beef's leglessness, "cheaty" Nebris, etc. They're all fun in moderation, but when that's all that dominates entire threads, I get really tired of it.

I think some of my favorite "jokes" are probably the more subtle ones, like the way certain people use different words for meanings--zebra wood, Bobs, spoons, lupus, "penis", etc. Overused by fans, too, but not as badly, I think.

Yeah, overdoing some jokes kinda kills them for me too, at least for a while. I got tired of the legless Beef one early on when no one would shut up about it, but sometimes now that it's died down a little, someone makes a joke about it where it's kinda funny again. Ones like cheaty Nebris and "who the hell is this Mhykol guy" are a bit overdone as well, but I'm a bit more tolerant of them since the people they're about tend to play it up.

It's not that much of a joke but I actually did a silly doodle of Etho coning because of Guude's latest mindcrack ep, haha

It sucks that all the good jokes get run into the ground so hard. I used to find the legless Beef joke pretty amusing until the 4 millionth time someone said it.

One joke that does still amuse me though that hasn't been too overdone is Etho = The Stig, though that could be the top gear fan in me being happy by that reference, I dunno

I'm not sure about *favorite* joke, but in the past week, this is what made me giggle most: doodle!

In his recent SSP LP, Etho talked about how his new favorite animal is the badger. Well, the server does have a Bajjer... so I just doodled the inevitable. =3
