mindcrackloveI was really looking forward to this prompt, but I am so tired today that I decided to scratch my original idea and go with something completely diffrent. (I've noted it and maybe I'll write it after the hollidays)
Summary: Sleepovers are only fun untill it's time to wake up

Day 9 - Pakratt0013
Pakratt liked staying up all night, working on various things and only going to sleep once his body could no longer be moved properly by force of will.
He had gotten used to work even through exhaustion and to push his limits further than his body allowed. In fact, he enjoyed this kind of work and the sleep that followed it was deep and well earned. Most of his friends would already be up and about, doing things when he would wake up. Which precisely was the reason for his choice of bedtime.
Nights were less busy - if you did not have to fght of a pack of monsters, that was. Almost no one else would be rushing about busy with one task or an other. It was a lot easier to keep track of what you were thinking about and creative ideas would be born.
“Hey! That was MY milk you just took!”
“Move over, you’re standing in the middle of the way, guy!”
“Who took my boots? I put ‘em right here last night and now they are gone!”
Sleeping in also meant to avoid the regular madness going on in the morning, when everyone was still tired and annoyed for having to leave the comfortable beds and would show that in getting frustrated with each other over the smallest things.
Pak liked his friends, with all their good and bad habits, but he hated it whenever they stayed somewhere for the night as a group and had to get up roughly at the same time for the next day.
Sure, the nights were a ton of fun, no questions asked. But the mornings after…
“Hurry up with the bloody water, you’re not the only one here!”
“I’m rushing already, you jerk, stop yelling!”
“Then get a move on, you git!”
Nope, definitely not a fan of those.
Pak tried to stay out of the crossfire as much as possible, but with all the annoyance in the air, it was difficult not to get annoyed yourself.
Maybe he should add a special pondry to his presents this year, about behaviour in the morning.
