Team America has been revealed!

It looks like the mysterious Team America is Zisteau, BdoubleO, and MC Gamer (crafty kappa MC, you made it sound like you weren't involved). It also sounds like they left it open for any other American members to contribute if they signed on while the pranking was in progress.

In other news, Sixelona's livestream marathon is still in progress. MC's been there almost the whole time, and through the power of mysterious code words, it sounds like we're getting a sneaky shout out in tomorrow's Good Morning Mindcrack.

After a terrible day, Zisteau's video has really just made me feel so much happier.

Zisteau, Bdubs and MC are three of the least likely people I'd expect for a team-up. Granted, they're all Team America, but I'm still just a bit "..." at it. MC sounds so very nervous/young to me throughout, as though he feels he has to be constantly entertaining, and perhaps he does. These three rarely hang out, so to have that much time together on a call may've had some awkward moments that needed to be filled with silence. Still, some funny moments, and I don't think there's any reason these guys shouldn't hang out more. So I'm really happy to see more unusual groups. I hope we get more random "Team America" combinations!

(As an aside, I'm super paranoid about all my "speculation" theory-posts now that I know at least one Mindcracker is probably actively reading posts here. :/)

I think you may be right about nerves and mild awkwardness. The three of them are some of my favorites but for different reasons, and they have different commentary styles that don't necessarily mesh well. I think as we have more "unusual" Team America adventures things will get more comfortable, though.

(I highly doubt we will hear more from him. If you are truly feeling nervous I can message him and kindly ask him to step aside, though.)

I think Zisteau is one of the people MC kind of fanboys and really wants to impress. And then he feels a little bad that he can't quite "do it right" in front of him, you know? The image of him practicing voices before bed every night...sigh. Feeeeeeeeels.

Yeah, and I think that a less-extended prank would've resulted in less awkwardness. They did three pranks together that must've taken forever. By the time they're at Pause's place I was sort of criging in second hand embarrassment. (The whole Lapis vs. lava obsession thing, especially.) Zisteau and Bdubs felt like the big popular seniors mocking the little naive freshman who doesn't quite realize he's being made fun of. Not really mean-spiritedly, but in a "... is this nerd guy for real?" way. The age difference just felt very apparent to me, and the difference in "nerd styles" between them. As an aside, though, it kind of makes me want a Mindcrack high school AU, ha.

I wouldn't want to tell MC to step aside, though. If he enjoys the community or likes knowing that he's being shipped, etc. I definitely don't want to deprive him of that. I'll get over it, and trust that he's not going to go copy and pasting stuff to the other Mindcrackers. And, it's not like they couldn't find the place themselves. It was always a possibility.

I just remembered that whole Good Morning Mindcrack episode with MC's feelings about Bdubs, too. He must have been in nervous fanboy mode the entire time, poor thing. (And neither Bdubs nor Zisteau really know how to deal with his energy, unlike Millbee and Nebris, which doesn't help.)

Honestly, if we don't want the mindcrack members to find this site, we should just make everything in it private. The way it's advertised on the reddit every so often, it's a little foolish to think they won't find it and peek in. So if people are that uncomfortable with the idea, it should be a members-only group.

And Idk, I don't really think of Zistaeu and Bdubs as that mean-spirited, but it's always a possibility.

I said in my comment that I didn't think it was mean-spirited. It was just a difference of nerdism and it felt really awkward, the whole "Okay..." way Zisteau responded to MC comparing his Lapis obsession to his lava one. Especially when he brought up how much he had IRL. Anyway.

As for the awkwardness -- we seem to have differing perspectives on this sort of thing fairly often. I do recognize what you're talking about. These are clearly three people who don't know each other all *that* well and don't have automatic chemistry, either. But I still think it worked just fine. I enjoyed it.
