Voo request a bit of TheJims and the NewMindcracker. I realize after I wrote this that I assume that NewMindcracker is a male. ... I just assumed, okay? XD I'm not trying to be sexist, I swear. Goodness sakes, I'm a girl myself. Okay, continue to read. <3
TheJims was more than what he appeared to be.
He was never present much when the other Mindcrackers were online. He liked his peace, his silence. The solid 'thud' of placing blocks, the powerful rush of control when he broke a block, or finished one of his few projects.
But that didn't mean he liked to be alone.
TheJims quite enjoyed company. He never sought it out, however. When he had been dubbed with the title 'Mindcracker' there were only a few. Now, the title 'Mindcracker' was healthily bolstered by over two dozen people, many of which TheJims had never met.
Admittedly, he was shy. Just a bit.
So he kept to himself. He wandered alone on the surface, trekking the fresh earth beneath his feet, and facing the dangers of the cave head on.
All alone.
... That all changed when the NewMindcracker appeared.
TheJims had taken up a bit of tree climbing in a jungle, when he had spotted him. Dark tan skin, blue shirt - he started with shock as he realized just how fresh NewMindcracker was. He honestly wasn't lying when he said he was 'new'.
And to be brutally honest, he looked as lost as a fish in the Sahara Desert.
He climbed down his tree without too much difficulty. As he was dusting off his coat, he sensed NewMindcracker approach him hesitantly, completely unarmed. He didn't even have a single block of dirt or wood log to lay claim on.
"You're TheJims, right?" NewMindcracker said hesitantly. He looked nervous, glancing up at the sky. Calmly, TheJims tipped his head back. Through the small slit in the canopy, he could see that the sky was beginning to darken. Sunset was coming. NewMindcracker had a good reason to be nervous.
TheJims nodded. "Yes," he said curtly. He sized up the younger man - he wasn't too much younger, but seemed reasonably fit, for a newbie. Throwing down a crafting table quickly, he created a primitive stone sword, tossing it at the NewMindcracker. "Here," he said briskly, picking up his crafting table. "We'll see how good you are." He looked at the sky again, hearing the rustling of the leaves around them as the mobs started to awaken. "We need to get to safety."
He took a step forward, before pausing, throwing his iron helm at NewMindcracker. "Let's go," he ordered, walking away through the bush.
"Ah! Wait up!" NewMindcracker cried out, scrambling over the roots and ground clutter. For a newbie, he sure kept up well.
TheJims let a smile grace his face. It felt good not to be alone.
