As prompted by cocoaviola......

A week ago, cocoaviola posted a prompt. I had bad writer's block at the time, so I tried at this...
 

“Come on, Vechs. You have to learn this if Guude is going to let you stay,” Etho says in frustration. “Everyone has to know how to make AT LEAST a three-by-three door.”

“I carve out a nine block hole and call it a door. Why do I need to involve redstone? That’s just more work… and more confusing,” Vechs states, obviously not wanting to be here.

“Ugh, Seth, help me out here.”

Seth and Etho try for ten minutes to explain to Vechs how to make the magic wire do his bidding, all the while Vechs blatantly ignores them.

“You know, I think I understand now,” Vechs exclaims. Seth and Etho look up hopefully. “I was wondering why you two work so well together. Even the best of friends don’t work THAT well as a pair. Now I get it. You two like each other.”

Continuing to work a bit of redstone onto the top of a stick, Seth says, “Of course we like each other. We’re friends.” He doesn’t notice the slight pink in Etho’s cheeks.

“Yeah, we’re redstoning buddies,” Etho says awkwardly.

“Oh, come on Etho, I’ve gotten a lot of people together in my days. No one blushes like that when they’re just ‘friends.’”

Seth looks to Etho, who’s now pinker than Kurt’s sheep. “Etho?”

“Here, I’ll make you a deal. I can’t stand to see such a cute couple apart.” The two look towards Vechs, fearing what he’s about to say. “If you two kiss, and maybe do a little more, I’ll sit still and listen to you guys drone on about ticks and daylight sensors.”

Before he can even finish his sentence, Etho jumps on Seth, kissing him harder and deeper than Vechs has ever seen anyone kiss. Seth, stiff and startled, slowly starts to relax and gets into the heat of it all.

Pulling away to breathe, Seth gasps, “Etho, I-I never knew. All this time we’ve been doing redstone…. Why didn’t you tell me?”

“I was afraid you’d think I was weird,” Etho said, looking like a five-year-old in trouble. “I didn’t want to destroy our friendship. I thought- I thought-”

Seth pulls Etho back against him, kissing him long and deep. Slowly Seth starts to unzip Etho’s vest, saying, “Show me that body of yours.”

“I’ll give you two some alone time,” Vechs whispers, sneaking off to play with Fwa’pa Durp.

An hour later, Vechs sees Seth and Etho walking through spawn, holding hands. Seth’s usually smooth mustache is ruffled up and Etho is wearing Seth’s hat. “You two done? ‘Kay, show me how to make the door…”

I don't know. X) I had to think of something I knew I could do, something simple, because if I can do it, most everyone can.

Just my opinion but I don't think teaching Vechs how to redstone is the best idea... Considering the mayhem he creates with out it. :P oh by the way Setho is adorable!
