With all the new content recently unveiled in Minecraft 2.0, there is loads of new opportunity to inspire fic, but I've already got two things I'm trying to write, so it only makes sense to drop my plotbunnies on you guys.
-I already mentioned this in the other thread, but the joke with sheep flying after being fed golden apples practically requires an exploration of what happens when Millbee eats one.
-What were the exact circumstances of SethBling becoming the new leader of Mindcrack? On video, Guude seems to hand over the key pretty willingly, but that doesn't mean there weren't any ulterior motives at work. What motivations could SethBling have to seize the position? Could he secretly be amassing an empire? Why would Guude be so blase about handing it over to him rather than someone else from the server? What is he planning to do with his new freedom from responsibility? And do we assume Seth's reign ends after the one day and things return to normal? What are the circumstances behind revoking him from the position? Does everyone quickly tire of living in a crazy town where nothing makes sense and force him to back down?
-In Pakratt's video, he likens the bizarre changes to something out of his Pondery series. What if 2.0 is just a manifestation of Pakratt's Pondery? That would make Pakratt the real puppetmaster behind all this. He must have some pent up resentment for being routinely dismissed as a hack because no one is enlightened enough to understand his statements of grand wisdom, so he somehow gains omnipotence though logic understood only by himself and creates a reality of his own imagining, the world as he understands it, which he forces the others to live in. This could also be a great opportunity to make up a backstory for why Pondery!Pakratt is the way he is. How exactly does he see the world, and how did he get that way? Come to think of it, would Pondery!Pakratt be a separate character from regular Pakratt? What would their relationship be?
-All the pigmen now have battlesigns. Is this a campaign by Zisteau to educate his brethren into being more like him, or are the pigmen evolving into more intelligent beings with awareness of who Zisteau is and wish to emulate him? A world with more intelligent (and better armed) pigmen is obviously more dangerous, but not necessarily. Maybe they just want rights like everyone else, like the ability to walk on rail tracks without being harassed. The pigmen civil rights movement is coming, and Zisteau is their figurehead.
-Super hostile mode. I don't have any specific idea, but I'm sure there's something you can do with that.
