A special thanks to everyone who said I go BDubs' and Pause's personalities right. It's good to know I'm capable of writing for characters other than just Z and Kurt. -Wipes sweat from forehead.-
And speaking of Team SMS, I think you've all been waiting very patiently for the chapter where they kiss and make up... This may or may not be that chapter. :P You'll just have to read and find out.

Kurt shook his head to clear it. Coming through the Nether portals still left him a bit dizzy. After he regained his bearings, he made his way over to the Endervator, passing Pause on the way, who, looking not at all surprised to see him, grinned and waved at him in passing.
Kurt pulled a couple stacks of ender pearls from his bag, looking up at the lens. He had had plenty of time to talk himself out of this on the minecart ride here... And now it seemed like he was trying to again.
Trying to hold onto BDouble0's encouraging advice, he took a deep breath and launched the first pearl into the sky, closing his eyes as he heard the "VVWP!" sound that indicated he was passing through the dimensional gap. Seconds later, the tripwire he triggered sent its signal to the pistons below his feet, causing them to push the blocks on either side of the tunnel together, creating a floor for him to stand on. He looked down at the temporary platform, then back up.
"No turning back now..."

Zisteau hadn't even moved form his seat before he head the Endervator being used again. He looked up, wondering what Pause had forgotten... And locked eyes with Kurt.
Both of them froze, each staring at the other. The silence grew long, and more tense with each passing second. It was as though neither knew what to say, or both were too shocked to speak.
When the silence finally broke, it was by not one, but both of them at once, with the same thing.
"Hey."
A smile grew on Kurt's face and he started to chuckle, then to laugh. His laughter was infectious, and soon sent Zisteau into his own fit of chuckles.
When they both calmed they were smiling at each other, and the Nether-dweller motioned for him to come inside and have a seat. To both of their surprise, Kurt didn't hesitate to oblige.
The small bout of silliness over, Kurt fidgeted, leaning forward in his seat with his elbows on his knees.
"I can't really... Take back what I said." He began, looking up at Zisteau. "You scare me... And there's a possibility you could hurt me again, given the right circumstances. But." He added quickly, seeing the Pigman start to look away in despair. "I'd much rather have a friend that might hurt me than not have him at all."
Zisteau felt his heart swell in his chest and before he could stop himself he pulled Kurt into a tight embrace, grinning like a fool.
The Farlander stiffened at the sudden contact, eyes widening and a blush creeping over his cheeks. He cleared his throat and swallowed, causing Zisteau to let go and pull back, rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly and starting at a part of the ceiling that was suddenly very interesting. He cleared his own throat.
"Um... S-sorry..." He stammered. "But hey! That's uh... That's great, I mean..." He took a calming, steadying breath and looked back to Kurt, who was staring at the floor and trying to stop blushing. "Kurt... Thank you. For giving me another chance... I can't tell you how much it means to me."
The Explorer looked up when he felt the weight of the other's hand on his shoulder. Zisteau had an intense look in his eye that scared him... But not in the way the incident had. This was a different kind of fear entirely, one he didn't really have a name for.
"I promise you, Kurt. I will do everything in my power to make sure I never hurt you again." The Nether-dweller vowed before pulling away and nodding somberly.
Kurt returned the nod, and desperately searched for a topic to change to. "So, uh... Endervator, huh?"
The Pigman grinned. "Oh yeah, that wasn't in last time you were here. Glad to see you figured out how to work it. You want some whiskey?"
Kurt sighed in relief. Things would go back to normal between them. "Indeed." he replied, following his friend into the kitchen.

"C'mon, Guude you can't be serious." BDouble0 whispered frantically, afraid that, even from this far down, they would be heard.
Guude shot his lover a glare so cold he might've turned to ice. "Do I look like I'm joking, Boo? There are four people here - Four! - powerful enough to overthrow me. And he's one of them." The leader looked back up to the Lens, gears turning in his head. "He can't be trusted."
"Guude, please, this is insane." BDubs pleaded. "No one's going to overthrow you. They all know, the score, they know who's in charge-" Guude cut him short with a note shoved into his chest.
"Then explain this. Explain why I found it pinned to my pillow when I woke up this morning. My pillow, Boo." Guude was furious. Far angrier than BDubs had ever seen him. Uncrumpling the note with shaking hands he gaped at what he read.
Like the sun, you have traveled far to the West.
Your time is drawing to a close, Guude Boulderfist.
Soon, it will be my time to rise.
"Whoever left it wanted to make it clear he could get to me when I had my guard down. He could've killed me then, if he wanted, but I think he wants to see me squirm."
Dropping the note in shock, BDubs reached out with a shaky hand to hold Guude's.
"Then we have a traitor among us." He whispered in disbelief.
"And we don't know when he might strike." Guude responded, pulling his lover into his arms and holding him close, trying to comfort him, in spite of his own fear.
"We need to be prepared."
DUN DUN DUUUUUUUUUUUN!
Oh you didn't think it was going to be all couples drama did you? Oh no no nooooooo.
Kind of a short chapter, I know, but writer's block has been kicking my ass today. Still, chapter is here, and with it a SHOCKING revelation!
Also, shout out to theropod for being able to read minds! Let's hope you use this power for good, and not evil. :P
