My prompter was hidgerknight! The prompt I chose was 'Vechsteau, Lava Bucket Gone Wrong'.
(I took it in kind of a weird direction, forgive me. I wasn't quite sure how to interpret this)

Vechs was happy. The sun was shining, and Mindcrack was a very nice town to be living in. He was building his home and had fallen into a sort of rhythm, laying down brick after brick on the foundation of the keep.
A loud curse from below broke his concentration. Vechs looked down, and saw his friend Zisteau stopped in the middle of the road that ran towards the centre of town.
“Hey, Zisteau!” he called. “Whatcha doing?”
Zisteau looked up. “Trying to transport this damn lava!”
Vechs stopped working and started to descend the ladder. “Need some help?”
“Yeah, help would be great actually. I keep spilling it everywhere.”
Vechs giggled. “Okay, I can come and help you. I think I’ve worked on my keep enough for today.” He walked into the road where Zisteau was fumbling with several lava buckets, trying to balance them all without spilling anything.
“Here,” said Vechs. “I can take some of those.”
Zisteau transferred half the buckets to Vechs with a little difficulty.
“So where are we going with these?” Vechs asked.
“Um, just back to my base. I have a chest there.”
The two continued along the road and passed through the town square, finally arriving at Zisteau’s house. It was a crazy building, made of fences stacked high and hollowed out to resemble a home. A cobblestone tower rose to the sky and made it even more distinctive.
“Woah, nice house you’ve got there!”
“Yeah, I wanted to do something a little different. I carved it out of a cube of fences,” Zisteau said proudly.
“It’s very… interesting,” said Vechs, “Now, where do you want this lava?”
“Oh, I have a chest in here. Don’t spill it!”
Vechs and Zisteau manoeuvred the lava buckets into the chest successfully.
“What are you doing with all this lava anyway?” Vechs asked.
“Um… something. You’ll find out,” Zisteau said vaguely.
Vechs eyed him with suspicion. “Prank?”
“I said you’ll find out! Now, are you going to help me get some more lava or not?”
“Wait, there’s more?” Vechs asked.
“Yeah, there’s more,” Zisteau said, tossing some empty buckets at Vechs. “I need a lot of lava.”
“Why not just make an infinite source wherever you need the lava?” Vechs asked.
“I just need a lot of lava buckets. Come on, let’s get some more lava.”
Zisteau led Vechs back along the road, through the town and past the keep.
“Um, where are we going?” Vechs said as they veered off the road into the forest.
“There’s a ravine with a huge lava lake at the bottom, it’s just this way.” Zisteau led him down into a cave that eventually opened out onto a huge ravine. Zisteau had already carved out a narrow staircase leading down to the lava.
Standing on a platform of cold obsidian, the two began to scoop up bucketfuls of the bubbling lava. Vechs was feeling mischievous. While Zisteau’s back was turned, he quietly tipped his bucket of lava behind the pigman’s back. The lava flowed towards his feet, causing him to jump and land right in the lake of lava.
“Vechs! You-“
“Sorry,” said Vechs, giggling. He scooped the lava back up with his bucket.
“Vechs! I’m kind of dying here,” Zisteau growled, struggling to climb out of the lake. He finally made it back onto the obsidian, but continued to lose health.
“Don’t worry, I have water!” Vechs said, dumping the bucket of water over the burning pigman.
“Why would you do that?!” Zisteau said.
“Sorry, I wanted to have some fun. Aw, you’re not really mad at me, are you?!”
Zisteau said nothing.
“Don’t give me the silent treatment. Don’t – agh!” Vechs cried as Zisteau emptied a bucket of lava over the mapmaker’s head.
“Revenge!” the pigman cried, cackling.
Vechs giggled as he doused his own body with water. “I guess I deserved that. But hey, I have a great idea.”
“What?” Zisteau narrowed his eyes.
“Lava fight!” Vechs said, flinging another bucket of lava towards Zisteau gleefully. Zisteau narrowly dodged it, quickly sidestepping and scooping up the lava, sloshing it towards Vechs’ feet.
“Ouch!” he cried as the lava splashed up and hit him. He retaliated with two lava buckets in quick succession, one on either side of Zisteau. Zisteau wasn’t quick enough, and began losing health as flames enveloped him.
“Oops, sorry,” Vechs said sheepishly, and quickly poured a water bucket over Zisteau.
“Nah, no problem. This is surprisingly fun,” said Zisteau, expertly tipping his lava bucket behind Vechs, letting the molten liquid envelop the mapmaker’s boots. Vechs squealed and jumped away, but landed in the lake in the process of doing so.
“Help!” he cried.
Zisteau quickly downed a gleaming bottle of fire resistance potion, then grabbed Vechs by the arms and hoisted him out of the lava. As soon as he was on dry land, the mapmaker tipped more lava on Zisteau, but quickly noticed the golden aura protecting him from any fire damage.
“Hey! Where did you get that potion?!” Vechs cried indignantly.
“I brought these just in case. Glad they came in handy.”
“You know…” Vechs said, looking at the lava pooling around their feet with interest, “This could make a fun game.”
“What are you thinking?” said Zisteau.
“You’ll see…”

Etho laughed and ducked behind a cobblestone pillar, avoiding the lava that Vechs had just poured around a corner. He turned around and, seeing Guude’s name through the cobble, expertly tipped his bucket of lava over the wall and onto the oblivious man’s head. He smiled, satisfied, as Guude yelled in protest.
“Ah, you got me!” Guude scurried behind another wall as his health decreased, quickly dousing the flames with a bucket of water. Holding his breath, he prayed that nobody would find him before his health was back up. He heard Baj protesting in the distance as somebody hit him with lava.
“I’m so glad we invented this game!” Vechs yelled from somewhere across the Lava Wars arena.
“It would never have happened if you weren’t always trying to find ways to kill me!” Zisteau called back. He hid behind a wall listening to the various screams and insults of the other players, mixed with the sounds of flames and lava. Vechs was right. Guudeland would never be the same without Lava Wars.

Very good! :D

Though, last I checked, you can't make an infinite source for lava.

In one of there mindcrack servers that they play on, you can have something called a florb where it acts like a snow ball, but when it hits a block it spills the liquid inside it, for example lava, so said lava wars can actually work! -vet anon ( time to round up some of my pals for some lava wars! )
