Here's the second part of this superhero AU 4-5 part series.

By the time the sun had peaked its head above the horizon, the city was already busy as New York. Traffic was already at its height, with whole highways stretching into the countryside clogged with the residents of Belfast and its suburbs. The weather was scheduled to be clear, providing a blue relief as the background for the white, grey, and glass buildings for the city.

Two men, in particular, have already escaped the madness of the early morning rush-hour. Hidden in a corner of John's Bakery Shop, only a few blocks away from the Belfast Town Hall, they sat there, talking about recent events in Belfast. One of them got up, walked to the counter, and sent the waiter an order. A few minutes later he received a giant cup of milk, a few loaves of chocolate-cinnamon bread, and a cake 1-meter by 1-meter. He placed the cake at the center of the room, where a number of members of the Belfast Parliament, the PM Jason Boulderfist, the CEO of Ethoscorp, and the owner of the bakery were all sitting. He then proceeded back to the other seat, where he divided the loaves of bread in between the two of them.

"So, Chris. It seems that we have a problem here," the man said when he returned back to the table.

"What?" Chris asked back.

"Deputy Prime Minister Robert Moran isn't here yet."

"Ah. I will call him to see what's going on, Jeremy, and we could proceed without him. After all, the true ceremony doesn't start until today at 9"30, and this is just an inside party between us, the parliament, and other prominent people."

"Very well then, Chris." Chris took out his phone and dialed Robert's number.

"Hello Rob."

"Hi Chris."

"Where the heck are you?"

"Oh. Sorry about that. I woke up late today, and I wasn't fast enough, so I got stuck in traffic. At this rate, I do not think I will be able to make the meeting today."

"Okay, but will you be able to get to the town hall on time?"

"Yeah, I should be able to be there."

"Well then, I will see you there."

Chris hung up and then the two of them quieted the room. Jeremy begins, "I would like to thank the current prime minister, Mr. Boulderfist, for running the country for one whole year, for turning this country into one of the most profitable places in the world!"

Cheers erupted across the bakery shop, as Jason Boulderfist stood up. For a long two minutes, the only thing that could be heard were the claps emitting from the hands of everyone. Once the clapping died down, though, Mr. Boulderfist began speaking. "Thank you, Chris and Jeremy..."

"At that moment, a loud bang was heard, as a man walked inside, a microphone in one hand and a briefcase in the other. He turned to the two men in the far coner, and asked them, "Can I interview you two?"

Chris turned around, looked at him, looked back at Jason, and said, "That reporter again?"

Jason continued, "Dear sir, you do know that this store is not open to the public, right?"

The reporter ignored Jason's statement, and continued to plead for acceptance of his request. "Please!!!"

"If you do not leave right now, I will have to call the police and have them escort you out. You could always wait until we are finished before talking to them, but it is just plain rude to interrupt a very important meeting like the way you did."

A tense couple of minutes passed, now with the reporter now looking at the prime minister of Belfast, until Jason finally pulled out his phone to call the police. The reporter, seeing that happen, finally stormed out of the building in disgust and anger.

"Well, thanks for that distraction," Jason said to the crowd. "Now, because of that person wasting all our time, it is time to head over to the town hall to get ready for today." Everybody in the room began to grumble, but soon resigned to the true hard facts: They have run out of the time here, as now was the time they were supposed to be at the town hall already. As they exited the building, Chris and Jeremy took extra precautions, as they feared being stalked by that reporter again, but there was no need, as the reporter was already ahead of them, walking towards the town hall.

"Those fools! I have tried so hard to get to them to reveal a little more about themselves, only to get rejected at the very last minute every single time! I guess I will have to go onto my backup plan, which will have nasty consequences for them, but this forces me to have no choice but to enact the plan." The reporter muttered to himself, as he neared the town hall. "I have everything I need, inside this briefcase and some in a closet in the Town Hall itself..."
