But really: Silver is a regular Zeldathoner, the editor of Ultimate Miner, and has a random versus game series with MC as well. He is his Favorite Swede. YoshiToMario is the other star of Dungeon Survival, a semi-vanilla Minecraft LP with various silly goals.
Just read the primer. I like MC, I really do. I think he's really awesome. I just generally don't watch the stuff he does, and don't have much interest in him as a person, so I know that's part of why I don't ship him. It's a very apathetic I don't care. Not in any mean way, just like, he's going on doing stuff somewhere that doesn't involve me. I have enjoyed some of his stuff, and I think he can be fairly funny, but he's just low on my radar, I think. He's got a heart of gold and I wish him all the best and want to love him, but I just don't. I don't have the energy or the interest or something. I'm not into most of what he is into, and usually don't get his humor. He also plays music a lot in his livestreams that I find really distracting, which makes it hard to listen to him over the music.
I dunno. I feel bad about it because I don't want to say anything negative about him. But I care so little about him that the thought of looking into some other LPers he's friends with just to ship him with some one else is beyond me. And that sounds so mean, but it's not meant to. It's not going to be every person's cup of tea. I quite like MC myself, so my reactions were a bit strong, but your mileage may vary. You're allowed to not like things, so don't feel too bad.
Nah, you are totally not a bad person! The way I see it, we all have our mindcrack player preferences, and there's 100% no reason to feel bad about that. For example, I enjoy watching MC because we share many similar interests, but I have a hard time watching Kurt and Guude (blasphemy, I know!) because their commentary just doesn't click with me personally. This comm would be a boring place if we all liked the same Mindcrack members equally. :)
Haha, whereas Guude and Kurt are two that I always watch. So yeah, definitely different strokes for different folks. But I feel bad especially when someone is so genuinely nice as MC. I WANT to like him more.

You're not horrible; you just like different things. You aren't saying that MC is a bad person...just that he doesn't grab your interest or excitement and that's fine! Everyone is different and that's why so many different LPers are able to exist, because some people like Pause and some people like Kurt and some people like Baj and some like MC - they all have vastly different styles.
As long as you don't go around badmouthing him for not being exactly what you want, which I'm pretty sure you don't do, there's no reason to beat yourself up over it.
The joy of Mindcrack is that it's a diverse enough community in terms of LPer styles that you don't have to love a certain thing in order to love Mindcrack as a whole. The only thing that brings them together is the Minecraft server itself, pretty much - everything else is up to the individual LPer's style. And there is no LPer who can appeal to everyone all at once, and they're aware of that, and it's okay!
Still, he is *my* favorite kappa so I will love him for you. ;)
I know, I know, but I still feel bad about it. Especially, I think, because he does seem to have a bit of an inferiority complex or something. Etho doesn't care that I don't care very much about him. (Unless he's doing something NOT with redstone, his LPs really bore me, because I don't redstone at all. I admire him, and think he's awesome, but I don't really care about him.) Properly, kappa are Japanese folklore monsters who are a bit trolly and mischievous. Justin.tv/Twitch.tv (same company) has secret emoticons/smilies that are images of former or current staff members. For whatever reason, on twitch.tv, there is a "kappa" emoticon mapped to a former staff member with a bit of a trollface on, so a number of streamers have equated "kappa" with "trollface" or general sarcasm. MC's the only Mindcracker to do such, though.
I personally tend to use the "favorite/dear/sweet kappa" construction as a nickname for MC because kappa have evolved into something adorable in Japanese fan culture. It's not necessarily directly from him, though it evolved from his usage, I guess. Though on the flip side, when Sixelona was asking for animals to associate with Mindcrackers, he brought up kappa himself, so...
I really don't think MC has that much of an inferiority complex about his LPs - he's really professional about his channel and seems to take pride in what he does.
