Wait wait, what? He said that? Conspiracy theory centers of my brain immediately jumps to thinking he's seen our recent discussions, but obviously he can't have seen this place, as Ms. Mod has just mentioned the MC/Nebris ship in the last post, and I think there's even a fanfic of it?

Really! He actually brought it up after someone called him adorable. There was a discussion for a few minutes, will find a timestamp when it's in the archives. He said he's heard people can't ship him with Millbee because it's like brother thing. Someone mentioned Anderz but he wasn't too sure about that. XD

He also seemed to think that all the guy/guy shipping is at least partly to do with there being no girls on the server. Oh MC, you have a lot to learn. <3

There was talk of MC/AnderZEL thanks to a comment someone made in the twitch comments, which made MC react rather hilariously. I think that it's hard for me to ship MC with any of the guys because his relationship with them seems firmly based in platonic friendship, to the point where recently Pause flirted with MC (during his trolling session I believe) and it took me aback some, simply because I don't think of MC as a very shippable character in that way! I see him more as the fun, excitable friend who cares deeply for all his fellow servermates and wants them to succeed. I think that if I ever could ship him with someone, it would be Pak, but I get the feeling that Pak would be uncomfortable with shipping (possibly even character-ships). So I found it absolutely hilarious that MC would complain about being hard to ship... because I do find him hard to ship!

Gosh. Like most people here, I agree it's hard to really think of MC in a shippy way, but if he wants it, gosh, now I feel like I need to make something work. I can kinda see MC/Nebris, but maybe there's other possibilities that haven't been thought of yet. MC/Arkas could have potential. Arkas did come to troll the Orange Wool livestream, and MC did kill him as part of the death games... okay, that sounds more like the basis for a rivalry than a ship (not that I really see them as classic rivals either), but I still think it has potential. People do like to associate rivalries as being secretly in love, and if his friendly friend interactions make him seen too platonic brotherly best bud, maybe a different kind of association is what he needs to make a ship work. Just thinking out loud.

My Nebris primer even talks about MC/Nebs! I agree that he's hard to ship, though, because he is so awesome and enthusiastic and doesn't really seem to have special connection with anyone, but a close relationships with nearly everyone. If there's anyone I'd ship him with, it's Nebris, and I don't know if that's mindcrack_love's influence on me or my passionate love for Nebris.

Besides, what about MC/Lapis? Everyone knows that's the OTP.

Oh my poor kappa. Of all the days to go to bed at a reasonable hour (yet still not wake up at a reasonable hour) instead of watching an MC livestream! :( And I am so conflicted - should I be relieved he doesn't know about this place, or should I be sad he doesn't see the depths of my fangirling of him?

I think Millbee/MC is hard because it's clear Millbee treats MC differently from how he treats Pause. Is that purely because flirty Indian is flirty Indian, or is it how he thinks MC wants him to act, or is it because Millbee can't view MC that way, or what? I do remember MC all flaily and heart-eyed when Millbee first entered the server and being all "oh my god we have to do something together", and Millbee is an extremely well-known and well-respected retro gamer and streamer - i.e. he's really good at two things MC loves. I wonder if MC did have a crush on Millbee and Millbee is too busy flirting with native Canadians to see it? That would be fun to explore.

I think it also doesn't help that MC was paired with Pakratt instead of Nebris for UHC7. (It made sense at the time, especially considering JD, like Nebs, is not afraid to use the game's glitches to his personal advantage and isn't afraid to start ahead of the clock.) Pakratt is a good guy and actually very sweet but, kind of like someone here once said about Baj, seems less "queer" than the others and far more resistant to shipping. So unlike a lot of other people, MC's perspective on UHC7 didn't have the same feeling of "oh god, look at this pair, must ship" as, say, Single Malt.

But yes ALL THE MC/NEBRIS-Y THINGS and we are officially watching CobbleHaters next season so you can all see my MC/Nebris feelings. It's kind of what I imagine shippy!MC/Millbee to be, in a sense? Like Nebris is older and he teases MC for being young and adorable and pushes some of MC's buttons in a teasing but flirty way, and MC doesn't want to admit he likes it but really he likes it because of who's doing it.

I would also accept MC/Silver and MC/YoshiToMario. MC touts Silver's virtues and awesomeness all the time, and Silver can be a little possessive of him in MineZ. Silver's also the only one MC will trust with editing videos that will show up on his channel (Ultimate Miner), which I think is a surprisingly powerful thing. Yoshi is actually quiiiiiite flirty (in a kind of tame and cute way) with MC in Dungeon Survival as well, far more than I anticipated when first starting that series. I have never seen Silver and Yoshi in the same room together, and I wonder how that would go too. And I think the fact that neither of those guys are on the server (and Silver is only a recent addition to the MCFS, not nearly as well known as folks like Dr. Brian Lorgon111 or Darkphan or Sixelona or whatever) doesn't help MC's shippy chances outside of this community either.

I really do kind of wish I could draw so I could send MC art of him and Nebsy defending each other and being adorable from CobbleHaters S2. Considering he seems to want it I'm alllllllmost tempted to send him some tamer fanfiction. Probably not, though.

I am also totally writing that MC primer now, even though it will probably have some gaps in it compared to the earlier Zisteaunian primer, where I address the ship options in more detail.

MC was absolutely fanboying about Millbee when he first got on the server, it was so sweet. And you could be right, maybe there was/is a bit of a crush there. Of course Millbee is involved with PolyPause and I get the feeling MC would actually prefer a quieter, one-to-one relationship - someone to come home to and cuddle.

All I can think is the Trial interaction, but that's hardly anything. They've never pranked each other? Kind of weird, considering that Pause and MC do interact quite a bit, even if not as much as they used to.

I'm just glancing through MC's Prank Wars playlist, and strangely enough, even when he gets pranked by Team Canada, it's only Etho and Pause. There must be something out there. A UHC encounter perhaps? I got nothing.

Oh yeah, MC/Silver. I can't believe I didn't think of that while I was posting last night though considering Silver's not on the server and I've never actually watched anything involving him, maybe not, but I thought of it after I'd gone to bed. In any case, with as many times that MC talks about him, you'd think they'd practically be OTP. I've decided I'm going to start watching MC vs Silver to investigate.

Silver and MC have very compatible styles and have gotten along for a very long time. Go watch MC vs. Silver or past Zeldathon stuff or MineZ or even the episodes of Good Morning Mindcrack where Silver commentates (right after Zeldathon and the first Friend Friday) and you'll see what I mean.

It's kind of like Kurt/Brian that way, now that I think about it.

And now I'm remembering how MC made sure Silver could attend this past summer's Zeldathon with that livestream and oh man, oh man. I don't know if it'll beat MC/Nebris in terms of my shipping (because *Nebris*) but it's gonna be a close one.

D'awww, I just reviewed the footage, and oh my gosh, the fake crying, the anime sad face, why must you do this to me?? It's okay. If we can't find you a suitable love on the server, I will love you instead if Ms. Mod doesn't get to you first, that is. We can play Zelda games together! I think it's probably best to still stick to Rule #1 of RPF when it comes to linking him here... though you can always leave a comment on one of his channels if you want! Personally, I'm afraid that if he finds out about this place, everyone else on the server will too, and people mentioned the prospect of that weirding them out a few posts ago. :)

It does leave me conflicted. I mean, he was sad that no one shipped him with anyone else. That's practically an invitation. Since he said that, I believe he'd be pretty understanding if he ever came across this place, but I still wouldn't outright link him here. But like you, I still kinda feel like something should be said...
