The Salad Files Project (Beta Release) - May 2014

If you'd like to help us out without dedicating the time and effort required to joining the team, you can help us out by writing a blurb for a series or sending in other information about the series as a whole such as main characters or pairings.

Note that we are still looking for team members to help with the project. Please be sure to only volunteer if you know for certain you can put in the time and dedication required to actively help the project. Please contact me if you're interested.

Quite a few changes this release but yay. They're looking really pretty.

The Salad Files Project (Beta Release) - April 2014

Bit of an announcement / request, but for those who post fics in accordance with making our job easier, if it isn't too much trouble to mention the genre of the fic somewhere on the post. It's not compulsory but it would really help us out.

(Shhh. This totally isn't a bit on the late side. Got a bit of a cold. :/ But it's still the 20'th somewhere in the world for a little under half an hour.)

Many times, you’d might stumble across a great fic and absolutely love it. Maybe it’s a chapter fic and you’ve got no idea when or where to find the rest of the chapters in the series, maybe you remember the title but scrolling through hundreds of pages of fics is incredibly painful, maybe you just feel like reading fics from a particular author, genre, character, or maybe even you’re just looking for some nice smut to begin the day with.

Finding old fics has always been rather frustrating and annoying, but with the Salad Files Project, doing so is about to get a whole lot easier. The Salad Files Project is the ongoing cataloguing, archiving, and categorisation of all literary works ever posted to the Salad with the purpose of making finding fics a quick and easy task.

(Please note that this release is a bare-bones beta release and while it is still very much functional and helpful, there is definitely more to come in terms of categorisation and other little secret extras that are currently being planned.)
