Zeldathon HYPE

This is your friendly reminder that Zeldathon, the charity marathon run by Fun For Freedom that includes MC Gamer, his roommates Mike and Alex, and many many other awesome people, is starting in about half an hour! This summer's marathon is raising money for the National Foundation for Transplants, and as always will run for five whole days.

Other points of interest: Pause is coming! All the Zelda games! Funny punishments for donation goals! It's going to be awesome!

Day Two and Twitch chat is completely down. Everyone looked exhausted earlier but some life is coming back into the marathon. Only a little more money needed for #MIKESTEP!

Edit: #MikeStep money has been achieved, reaching $12k in 23 hours. They're also eating a giant fucking chocolate bar.

Another highlight from Saturday: Mike went Team Rocket and kidnapped Pikachu, and continued taking victims until the ransom of 13K was met. He tortured Silver with hot sauce. It was intense.

Dinnerbone has been around and donating. He confimed that he has so far donated around $1.5k under various Dinnerbone-related names, to which Pause responded that he has a 'heart-on' for Dinnerbone. Pause/Dinnerbone new ship.

Day Three. Twitch chat has crashed at least three times. Scott has arrived! For those of you unaware, Scott is one of my best friends and kind of the Kurt to my Zisteau, and yes, that does include the shipping. Rice fell asleep on the couch and was the most adorable thing ever until he got sent off to bed. I'm sad that I have to go to work tomorrow and Tuesday and therefore will miss some Zeldathon, but I'll have to watch from work if I can.
