Hi, I'm Nic. I'm not an RPFer (I don't do shipping wars either), but I like Minecraft and I watch several Mindcrackers and I was looking for a place to discuss that (and maybe do the play on a server thing) as I'm not fond of trolly reddit and people who find their way to DW are usually reasonable humans and here I am.

Anyway, I came to mindcrack via a fairly circuitous route. I was watching someone play a bunch of Vechs maps, then I watched them play race for the wool. I was checking out the other racers and liked the way that Zisteau played, so I watched a bunch of his videos and so came across mindcrack. Mostly I watch Z, Vechs, and PSJ with occassional forays to other viewpoints.

Ever since there was internet I've always been a good netizen. I'm currently playing Skyrim, Minecraft, and Sims. Apparently I'm elderly (30s). I'm a woman, a US westcoastie, and I have been to way more school than most people. :P

I read through a number of the non-fic posts before I joined and it looks fun. I'm not anti-RPF (your kink is not my kink and that's OK :P ) so it's all good.

Well, a lot of us are 15 or so in AGE, but not in maturity. And then you have the League of Legends community... *sigh*

Oh forget gender, half of the people that play the game, you would never guess their gender right. For example, if you see a Lux/Sona main, intuition says female player. You would be wrong. It's just the fact that a lot of players of the game are either 8 or they act like it.

Nah, lots of guys play female characters. Really, I don't actually know the age range of LOL players though and I haven't spent much time in that area of the net so I can't judge.

I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy your stay, we may be all a tad crazy over here, but when it comes down to it we are all reasonable people who enjoy Minecraft & Mindcrack and don't care either way if someone enjoys shipping the dear guys or not ^^ (I was not even aware there was something such as 'shipping wars' among us ôo)

Crazy is good and the community definitely looks fun. I've found that, fortunately, most people who find their way to DW tend to be reasonable people. In my experience don't get many ohnotheydidn't or reddit trolls on here or if we do they behave themselves. (Denise and Mark have fostered a really good site-culture IMO).

I've lived near the fandomish end of the net for a long time, so I figured I better state my position on shipping wars upfront. It's save me trouble in the past. :P
