Wow, that's pretty final sounding. I know in a recent episode (or maybe podcast?) Guude said that OOG was on hold because he can only record a certain time of day, and Bdubs wasn't ever able to make that, and that after Deathly Trails it'd be the last OOG because of differing schedules. (I think we discussed that in this community when it happened, actually?) This makes it sound a bit more final though, and maybe that they won't even finish Deathly Trails...

Ow. :( Mom and dad need to stop fighting, guys.

Yeah, we've been over the whole schedules thing, but this? This wouldn't be just time issues. It gives me a horrible sinking feeling. :(

Yeah, same. Especially because it's sort of felt like it's been coming? Like, it's not a big shock because they've been doing less and less and less together, and sometimes the stuff they do together feels a bit forced or awkward, I dunno. I don't want to make up theories. But although it doesn't feel like there's been a big blow up, it doesn't feel entirely mutual, either. It feels second-hand and bitter, like they're not talking to each other, but are posting thoughts in episodes to let the other one know how things are going... not cool. :(

I don't want to make up theories either, but nothing about this feels like the sort of natural end of a friendship that does happen sometimes. It's like it all just broke down. The last ep of Deathly Trails was full of giggling and planning for Minecon. -_-

Yeah, did something happen between then and now? Were they just pretending during DT somehow? Are we just reading into the death of OOG too much and they're actually totally fine with it? (Which seems really weird/hard to believe...) I really hope it doesn't make Minecon awkward or anything. :(

Ugh, awkward Minecon after all of the feels regarding last year's Minecon is just terrifying to think about.

Also GODDAMNIT THIS FANDOM MOVES SO FAST. Like, I am just throwing my hands into the air regarding how to treat OOG in To Hear The Words now.

It didn't feel like they were pretending in DT, all I felt was how much they'd been missing each other lately and how eager they were for Minecon. I understand once they fell behind a bit they were getting bit annoyed by a lot of 'Where's DT?' on youtube, but that's not normally something that would bother either of them.

I can't shake the feeling that if it was only scheduling, they'd each be more bummed about it. Like you said, it feels bitter.

Maybe if Minecon is awkward it'll force them to talk, since it sounds like they aren't, at all.

I want to be wrong though. Ireally do. :(

I know, and it hurts not knowing if something is really wrong. Not because I feel entitled to know their business but because we actually care about these guys.

I have no idea, but Cocktail Tuesday is still going (it started late) and Bdubs is way, way, WAY more drunk than I've seen him in past ones.

I AM SO WORRIED AND I FEEL THEY'RE HIDING THINGS AND WAAAAAAAAAAAAH.

Oh man. Maybe Guude had A Talk with Boo that didn't go well... D:

Like, he's Legendary drunk, but since he's hanging out with Millbee and Genny instead of Guude it's less "adorable flirting" and more "drunken singing and slouching and not knowing what's going on".

Just peeked into the stream and... yeah. :(

It's interesting too to think that he's doing Cocktail Tuesdays instead of recording OOG with Guude, since this is the same time... I mean, I get Cocktail Tuesdays is a thing, but you'd think he could say "Gotta hold off this week so I can do some Deathly Trails" or livestream from 7-9 and the Deathly Trails from 9-12 or whatever.

I'm afraid to peek into the livestream. I have enough feels over the whole election right now.

I mean, it is 10 right now and the stream ended. Perhaps he is recording with Guude now. I live in hope.

I have no idea how to comment on all of this, so instead I will just sit here and be sad face with the rest of you. :(

Just finished today's BdoubleO Mindcrack episode and at the very end he mentions Guude and Deathly Trails. Basically he says, "I watched Guude's latest episode and he says he's been waiting on me to record Deathly Trails. (Laugh) If he wants to pin the blame on me, that's good I'll take it. We've had conflicting schedules, but we'll get back to Deathly Trails soon." That's not verbatim, but it's the basic gist. He doesn't sound bitter or angry at all, so... idk.

And earlier in that episode, he cited not having the energy to record with Guude as one of the reasons he did quit working at his father's business. (I'm listening to it now.) There was a fairly long lull between the recording of Kaizo Caverns and the start of Vinyl Fantasy and Deathly Trails which I belieeeeeeeve corresponds to around when Bdubs was considering quitting, which makes sense.

I live in hope that they're recording - if not now, this week.

Yeah, exactly. He says in this episode that he quit working for his dad to do this fulltime because he had more fun and the money was better, so to then not record... I DUNNO. But this was recorded before tonight's Cocktail Tuesday... :(

...or for the optimistic side, perhaps it started late (and BOO already has booze in his system) because Cocktail Tuesday was *after* a Deathly Trails recording????

I love that idea, though I'm doubtful. I didn't watch, but if they'd just recorded/were about to record Deathly Trails I feel like he'd be saying, "We're recording/just recorded, hang on to your hats!" vs. "OOG IS DEAD"...

Oh, boys, stop, please. I definitely can't handle all these feelings.

Friends grow apart and people move on, though. Stuff gets in the way. Who knows, a few months from now, the kid could be less time-consuming and we could see a revival of OOG. Saying its over will shut the fans up a lot easier than saying its on hiatus.

Let's just hope for it to be something simple and nothing horrifying. We'll see at MineCon at the latest, at least. And we will always have MineCon 2011 in our hearts...

The good thing is there will be so many Mindcrackers at Minecon that even if Guude and BdoubleO are having a lovers spat I think good times will still be had. If nothing else Guude is gonna have Pause, and of course BdoubleO will be plenty busy with GenerikB and Kurt and Juicetra and whoever else, and they're both professional and clearly still friends even if they may be having professional differences, so I doubt anything would blow up. We're just a lot more likely to get Guude/Pause, or Bdubs/Genny/Kurt or something instead of Guude/Bdubs...

It's all so confusing. :/ My first thought is 'He's finding this out from Guude's video instead of directly? Why are you guys not talking??'

Yes, this this this. This exactly. They are not communicating. I get that they don't have schedules that mesh right now, so it's not like Guude sees Bdubs on and sends him a message, but surely they have some way of leaving each other messages, like Skype would show it up when the other guy signed on, or email, or text or SOMEthing. It's totally messed up that they're passive-aggressively communicating through their videos, treating each other like fucking subs. WHAT.

It's the not talking that gives me big flags of Not Good. Even if, for whatever reason, it was a friendship naturally winding down and just not being as close, there would still be communication. It would still suck, but it wouldn't feel like this. :(

Oh god, I hope that its really just issues with timing and not the end for good ;_; I cannot stand the thought of them breaking up their friendship, they're so good together... -sobs quietly in corner-

I'm watching it now and BdoubleO said something like yeah, probably no more OOG -- Guude had told him. But then he corrected himself and said he'd found out through Guude's video (that is, not from Guude talking to him directly). Tone of voice was kind of a shrug, but he didn't sound happy, more like he was trying to brush it off and not dwell on it. (He went straight into the ABCD thing).

To me -- not knowing these guys personally and admitting this is really presumptuous -- it seems like Guude got frustrated and took the slightly passive-aggressive step of calling out the situation in a video instead of contacting BdoubleO directly and talking about it. And BdoubleO might be slightly hurt that he did it that way. I don't know what that bodes for their friendship exactly (it's not exactly earth-shattering as an issue, you know?), but I guess it's their problem and not ours. I'm not going to stress about it. They obviously care about each other, so beyond that -- whatever.
