Best Of Nominations - The Salad Files Project

As some of you may already know, myself and a small team of fellow saladers are compiling and cataloguing all salad fics into one neat organised set of spreadsheets to make it easier to find any and all mindcrack fics to suit any and all moods, and all respective chapters. As part of this project, I thought it would be nice to highlight some of the communities favourite fics, so as part of this I'm looking for a few nominations.

For a fic to eligible, it merely needs to be posted on the salad (including the original mindcrack_love journal) before the 10th of Jan, 2014. (While you can nominate your own fics, it is considered bad sport to do as such.)

To nominate a fic, simply state the category, the fics title, and a link to the fic (or first chapter of the series for series categories) in the comments. You can nominate for as many or as little categories as you please, but please only nominate for each category once.

Note: I may not have seen the fic around before and over 800 fics is a lot to scroll through to look for a fic if you don't add a link to it in your comments. So please add a link to fics you nominate.

Working with borrowed internet here, so I can't throw all the links (all the links!) at you guys and make some proper research ... but hey, gotta participate! <3

Obligatory horn-tooting: Very squee at all the nominations for myself, UHC: Foundation, and the Severance Universe up in here. ==Genfic== (While shipping is allowed in this category, it mustn't be the main focus of the fic.)
Favourite Oneshot -- (Dagnabbit. There was this one very memorable OOG BroTP-based fic that I saw a few weeks ago where they were outside Kurt's Royal Observatory attempting to do some drunk startgazing... I don't remember the title. *embarrassed and exasperated sigh*)
Favourite Series -- MewbladeXx's 'The Village' (Can't help it. It just sticks out and is lastingly memorable. Amazingly written for something with minimal planning. Much props.)
Favourite Genfic Author -- (Genfic authors are rare birds here. So, asking me who is my favorite genfic author is like picking a favorite child/personal OC... Fudge 'n' a biscuit, can I not rattle off a list, chee?)

==Shipfic== (Fics that revolve around a ship / shipping but not smut.)
Favourite Oneshot - Another case of 'memorable fic, but forgot the title'. There were a couple cute ones involving MC and Millbee, one involving MC dragging Millbee into a bathtub and another where Millbee was dragged to the beach with a little help from Pause. It's a toss up between those two.
Favourite Series - It's a toss up between Celeste's 'More than a Beast', Thero's 'Bribery', and Kappa's 'And a Bottle of Scotch' serials. All are memorable, thought-provoking, and written with care and consideration.
Favourite Shipfic Author - Uh. See Favorite Ship series.

(*carefully holds both hands up and backs away from the category* Nothing against this category. Only love and respect for those who contributed to this genre. I just can't make an educated choice on a subject I'm not immersed in. Good luck to all of you, regardless. <3)

==General Categories== (For all Fics)
Favourite AU -- *opens mouth, then immediately closes it* ... Hate to say this, but my favorite AU outside of the SevU never really saw the light of day, which (in my personal opinion) is a bit of a shame. TL;DR - Sorry. No nominations come to mind here. *le shrug*
Funniest Fic -- MewbladeXx's Village Omake (the one involving the chickens!) Forgot the title, but it stuck out (not because I was in there! Honest!) because of its memorable and down home sense of humor.
Cutest Fic -- Minor tooting of horn here, but I was indirectly responsible for this nomination: The kiddycrack-inspired "Team Canada Fluffy Thing" ... I'm going to need to find the link for that one, aren't I? It just stuck out in my mind for some reason, and I can't quite place why.
Most Feels-Breaking Fic -- Yet another case of 'memorable story, forgot the title' ... yet another MC/Millbee fic... but it's utterly heartbreaking. Millbee's missing, and poor MC's an inconsolable and delusional wreck. That one got me totally teared up (that's tough to do, so props to the writer!) and I'm tearing up recalling it.
