The only one who has a memory of the loops for a fact is Vechs. TheJims has a sense that they were looping better then everyone else, but he only remembers specifics of various loops when Vechs talks to him.
Yeah, Vechs made a deal with TheJims, no they caught everyone. They just scattered when they went through the portal. There were pigmen waiting to capture GenerikB and Avidya, Adlington being Vechs' minion just went to where Vechs told him to go once he went through the portal.
It would be...difficult to defeat him. He'd just start a larger time loop until he got it right and stopped whatever defeated him before. So for most purposes, it would be impossible.

(it's one of the reasons TheJims was being snarky to Guude and Jsano about "getting busy" while he wasn't there, or go ahead, they could "get busy" because the entity likes watching.
