General randomness - I have jury duty tomorrow. Woo? Also, I just got back from a Star Trek convention. I now have a photo with Jeffrey Combs. He's awesome.

Observations - The kitten dislikes me leaving.

Actual things related to mindcrack. Writing another short thing, because something popped into my head and refused to leave until I write it down. So also woo!

I am so behind on videos right now, but some things I did enjoy in the past week...
-Beef's misadventures trying to find a horse, and his attachment to a dog along the way.
-Beef and Guude's collaborations on FTB with Guude programming a lawnmower turtle for Beef. Why are these two so funny together?
-BTC's subsequent "prank" on Guude upon discovering Guude's strong negative reaction to the wiggly moon worms, and Guude practically begging Etho to get rid of them.
-Zisteau's second death in Inferno Mines. :o
-The very special episode 29 of Mother 3.
-All the Surgeon Simulator madness. The game used to kind of freak me out, but I'm glad I managed to get over that, because the videos really are quite funny.

Weekly Squee: Finding out about BTC's love of caramel.
Made me want to write a fic, but I cannot think of a plot line! It's so aggrivating >-> I've asked so many people for help, but no one can think of anything because 'they don't think in fanfic world'. *theyaretoosarcasticsometimes*

I finished my terrible assessment at long last! - And have just now realised I left in a colloquialism I really shouldn't have before handing it in. I'm seriously hoping that the marker won't take points off for me calling the pylons for a major power line upgrade 'great big dirty sticking pylons'...I was in a mood while I wrote it >_>

Been loving all the Surgeon stuff from good, the space thing was just great.

Just finished watching Zisteau talk about Thorbert Magicfizzle. Makes me wish my DnD game for Sat hadn't been cancelled, I have a real hankering for my dwarf girl now : /

I'm enjoying Kurt's Truck Simulator a lot! It's so funny :3
And Beef, definitely Beef! I love how he uses music now, adds a nice touch.
Zisteau's Thorbert story got me quite interested in D&D I might look into it a bit.


Regarding reallife: I bought a Yukata (light japanese kimono you wear around spring/summer) and it's really awesome! The thing is, there are not that many occasions you can wear one here in europe without totally standing out. Which is why I was even happier to find out that there was a japan-themed meet-up planed for the 27. Mai in my town.
So far so good. As it turned out weather forecast predicted rain (70% chance) and general coldness for said date and in case of rain the meet-up would be canceled. Everyone one the attendance list was therefor send an e-mail and was asked to vote if the meet-up should be rescheduled or not. The new date being the day after (28.) with a predicted 20°C and 20% rain.

For whatever reason the vast majority voted NOT reschedule. (????? WHY?)
Guess what. It rained. And it was cold. Meet-up got canceled and now comes the worst part: Orga failed to inform people in time!!!
It was obvious since thursday that the weather would be awful! And many people posted on the forum that they'd come from a nearby town.
And they still wrote the mail to say that it got canceled 3 hours before the actual meet-up!!!
UGH! I don't get it really. It got rescheduled now anyway so?
Some people were obviously not thinking, or only thinking about themselves.

Had to get this off my chest, sorry for rambling =/

Oh. Here's a question for you guys that just popped into my head.
Anyone living around London and going to/wanting to go to MCM Expo? Just wondering as I am going and heard that a couple of people from the subreddit are too.

Oh no I just got to Zisteau's Mindcrack episode talking about his DnD character. I used to play a little myself, so that's cool to hear about, but more importantly! I love hearing writers talk about their characters. Like, just listening to him talk about the world building that he already knows so well inside his head, and all the funny little details about the characters. He's so into it and! And! Writers! <3
