Prompt Swap #14

Welcome to prompt swap #14!

There hasn’t been one of these for the past few months, so I’m going to make one, because these really helped bring life to the salad. That aside:

Sign up by posting a comment here with a prompt - it can be one, or two or more, something unique or something that someone's written before. You can do this until January 12th.

On January 12th this prompt will be given randomly to one of the other people who submits a prompt, and you will be given the prompt of another person who signs up. All of the participants will then written one of the prompts from the list they have been sent, to be submitted before the deadline of January 19th (one week after prompts are sent).

There's no regulations to the prompts other than if you choose to include one NSFW, please also include one SFW so that those who are uncomfortable writing NSFW have an alternative. And, similarly, some people do not write shipping, so if you post a prompt with shipping, an alternative would also be nice, or including a variant that isn't shipping - or at a minimum don’t be disappointed if what’s written doesn’t include shipping.

On January 12th (one week from this being posted) I will pm everyone with your assignment, so PLEASE have your PMs turned on. Go to Settings -> Privacy -> DW Private Messages -> Have it selected to "Registered Accounts"!

And please put time and effort into these pieces! If you're writing, don't make them less than 500 words, but even longer would be even better! Please post them on Salad by, if not before January 19th! Also, make sure to tag your stories/art (you can do either/or) as "fanfiction"/"fanart" AND "prompt swap".

To those of you who have done this before:

Just this once you can sign up even if you didn’t complete your last prompt swap assignment. It’s been three months, so you deserve another chance and I don’t want to exclude, like, half of salad, but this does not mean that not completing your assignment is okay. If you sign up for this, you're committing yourself to finishing your side of the prompt swap by the end date or at least close to it. It's not fair for those who do complete their prompt swap to not get something in return.

If you forget who you were assigned too and you've lost the email, just go back to the older Prompt Swap threads and pick a prompt that's not your own and write it! It still has to be tagged "prompt swap" and "fanfiction" as always.

-"Look I know it's three in the morning and you don't know me but I live in the apartment across from you and there's a spider and I CAN'T KILL THE SPIDER OKAY PLEASE HELP"

First off the as shippy as you want to write,

Several members of mindcrack are abducted and have to fight to take control of the ship to return home. Personally would like Nebris and MC to be amongst them, but ultimately it's up to you

UHC, I'd like parkas or always never die but you can choose whoever really.

Now for straight up shippy,

First date, random pairing wished for, but no Pak,

Continuation of Nebtho Omegaverse where Etho discovers just how hard it is to keep Nebris' secret, and to not tell everyone he found his bondmate because that would raise too many questions.

Im fine w/ whatever, just write what you feel comfortable with! (I would love some good ol' nebtbo though :3)
-person A and person B are on a blind date. Turns out they had dated in the past and decide to rekindle their relationship
-A fic based on Demons by Imagine Dragons
-Arkbris- based off the phrase "you try too hard, but i like that about you"
-Mindcracker snow day! Its boxing day and snow had fallen heavily overnight, so the gang decide to have a day messing around outside.

Oh to heck with it, I wanna join. One week will mean this will be stressfull, but I will attempt my best. *seriousface*

Prompt 2: CobbleHaters. Can be pre, post or during their time together.

Prompt 3: "Do you hear that silence? That silence is gonna make me pay, later." - Pakratt 2015 (Write something based on this quote. Doesn't have to actually include Pak and can be about whatever and with whoever you like.)

The only restrictions from me are: No shipping that goes beyond friendship (although that can sometimes be closer then what most people associate with a ship-fic these days) and nothing that's set in an other Fandom and requires people to know that one to understand.
It should be as accessable as possible for everyone =)

YUSSS another prompt swap! It's been far too long!

1) What if your soulmate was born on another planet, much like earth?
2) high school au, best friend confesses love for the other
3) medieval au, where gay couples aren't allowed
4) Druken game of truth or dare (Shippy or non shippy)

As always, I'm willing to read anything you throw at me, though SMS is the key to my heart. And I'd prefer no Adorabolical!

Haven't done one of these in a long time
(These can be shippy if you want. I'd prefer these be SFW, but if you REALLY need to, then go right ahead with NSFW)

1.) ChildCrackers in a candy store, and no matter how hard they try, [insert ChildCracker here] can't find their much desired chocolate pretzels.

2.) BandNerdCrackers after playing and marching at a game that went into overtime. They are tired, hungry, and sweaty, and there is only one pizza left over from concessions. Ik, scary, isn't it?
