Valentine's day!

So it's 2 am here, that totally makes it Valentine's day. Lets have a fun one!



JustVan made up some awesome Valentine's for the Mindcrack guys [link] The Zisteau one is quite possibly my favourite.

What about you guys? Can you think of any other amusing punny valentine's cards based around the guys? Are you planning any art or fic to commemorate the day? Or just share what your plans are!

Maybe we can get a mini Prompt thing going in the comments. Write a sentence or so about your favourite mindcracker or your favourite ship or favourite friendship celebrating Singles Awareness Day. Example: Nebris/MC: MC had not expected much on Valentine's day, so waking to his room filled to the brim with lapis blocks was quite a shock; the sign attached left a clue to who to thank however, "Roses are red, Lapis is blue, I gave you all my lapis, now let me ravish you. ~ Nebris". Nebris suddenly appearing in his room was quite a shock too. MC proceeded to thank him, vigorously.

Mindcrack valentines! I originally had an idea to make some using screenshots from my Mindcrack Mod world, but I kind of balked and instead gave all my punny ideas to darkforestwarrior over tumblr since she mentioned making some. I really hope she's doing those still. I love her art style. Incidentally there are only a few overlaps between our ideas and Van's.

Oh my. I laughed way too hard at your example fic. I was just trying to write something, but I kind of got stuck because I'm probably over thinking it. I think I have a hidden tendency to make stories way longer than they need to be (I'm still trying to finish Guude/Beef, for example. Just the first three parts were over 10K words. I wasn't expecting that), so I should try cutting it down to a few sentences like you say.

Heh, I originally had one sentence but I literally could not condense anything down to that small a thing. So long as it gets the point across I think it works :D

XD silly fic idea is silly! I actually like the idea of MC leaving love poems; I remember how excited he was for written books when they first came out. I wish I had more ideas; perhaps I'll update if I think of anything!

I'm trying to write a Valentines fic but it is just not cooperating. Love the Valentines. I think JustVan's Etho and Darkforestwarrior's Zisteau are my favorites.

I'm rather partial to the ones for Doc and MC, partially because they were things I completely failed to come up with myself when I was thinking of ideas.

My fic isn't cooperating either. I should just post it anyway, even though it feels weirdly unfinished, but I don't know how to finish it.

That's always my problem, too. Closing a scene in the right way is such a challenge. I think you could probably post it, though. If you think of a better way to finish it you can add it on later.

"I know, but this time I really think there's a resemblance."

"Are you sure you didn't just switch to your Matt Damon texture pack?"

"I might have. The beauty of the Matt Damon sheep was too great for my mortal soul, and now it's like my eyes literally can't look away. Even you're starting to look like Matt Damon. It's damn sexy."

MC smiled faintly to himself. Millbee glanced over from where he was laying in the grass.

"Oh wait, that's how you always looked, isn't it. Oh-- villagers! Come on, we don't need to see that. I thought we made a rule about doing that in the street."

MC stifled a laugh. "You know, I think we can suspend that rule for just this once."

I am planning something in my series I suppose I could call it. Might be abit late as its probably ot for another 3 chapters :/ but hey ho :3 hopefully it can manage to get it out within the month of valentines at least xD
