I'm sure by now most of you guys have heard that guude turned on fire spread on the mindcrack server.
The arena roof is pretty damaged, but I'm more worried about the comments guude's getting. poor guy. :c Bdubs seemed pretty saddened also... what could this mean for the relations of the mindcrack fellows? Do you guys think anyone had fault in this? Blame anyone?

Also, we must find a way to drag shipping out of this burned-up mess.
Because shipping matters.

Poor Guude. It's no one's fault. That's how the game works. It sucks, but it was bound to happen. Guude gets blamed for not playing vanilla if he keeps the tick off, and blamed if he turns it on because wood structures burn.

Just time to reset the map, I think. :(

In that case I hope they're not wooden ships.

It kinda sucks, especially since it was nearly impossible to keep track of every little persistent lightning fire every time there was a storm, but it had to be turned back on some time.

But maybe there will be a big arena rebuilding party, and that's where shipping will happen.

I don't think it's anyone's fault; every server's got its issues and problems, even the best run ones. I'm curious to see what peoples' reactions will be over the next few weeks.

As an aside, it's interesting to read the Guudelp.com chat log right now. Seems like a bunch of the guys got on to help rebuild/check their bases (including Kurt!). Maybe in a weird way it'll be a good thing for getting some guys back on vanilla and doing some community stuff. I just hope Guude doesn't get picked on too much for it.

Oh man, Guude's getting a lot of flak in his youtube comments. :/ I saw he said he set it to rain when he turned firespread back on, to put the existing fires out, but it looks like it got cleared when someone slept.

And then he tweeted this a short while ago: "No video tomorrow, I am not really in a mood that would result in quality entertainment, sorry."

Just saw the tweet and came on to repeat it here... so fucking sad. And it's like, you wanna do something nice to try to cheer him up, but it's like he's goddamn untouchable. Aww Guude D: Poor guy needs love, not those dickweed trolls ranting at him. This is totally what I was thinking. Everyone was bitching that it wasn't a vanilla server since fire tick had been turned off so long. Now that it's back on Guude's griefing or some shit. Why did I have to get so involved with a group that's primarily made of immature teenaged boys? Sigh.

He seemed so down I wanted to cry :( especialy when he said he would have thesubscibers on to fix it...
but my mums always said one door closes one opens. Stayed true for me a lot of times. I just think this is going to spark everyone's interest in vanilla again hopefully a giant group thing with Bdubs and arkas leading the building :)

I think it's just a good opertunity for everyone to work together after all the FTB. Hopefully


Poor guy..I'm sure he feels as crap as Bdubs he said in a lot f is videos he is scared to put it on. Fr this exsact reason. Fair enough it might be a spawn house that got destroyed but the arena is huge and even he knows it could take ages for budubs to finish himself. Even he could organise all the mindcrackers coming on to fix it as the community thing or even a supprise for poor Bdubs.

I've not seen any of the comments about Guude or anything, but I can imagine what they are saying...
People can be so hypocritical at times. I just hope that the more sensible side of the Mindcrack community can quell this sudden influx of dislike towards him and pick him back up...
It's rather disheartening as I've actually started to get into Guude's videos recently... :(
